I have never had such a terrible experience at a restaurant, let alone one with a company motto that claims to be the place where "happy endings are possible." After calling the restaurant to confirm they allow gluten intolerant people to bring their own bread I visited Turf for the first time a few months ago. The waitress was friendly, even took my bread and gave it to the chef to make my breakfast sandwich on toasted bread. Today (and this is after visiting Turf on several occasions since my first visit and each time using my own gluten free bread for my sandwiches) a manager at Turf let me know that after placing my order I could not be in the restaurant at all with my gluten free bread because it was "outside food" and could be a contaminant, he said that was how food illness happened and that I should know better and he suggested I leave the restaurant. When I asked him if there were any accommodations for gluten free individuals at the restaurant he said "you dont have to eat here" - which is true, but not at all something a manager should be saying to a frequent customer. I rate Turf a 0 for incredibly poor service. I also rate them a 0 for allowing their employees to behave in a manner that borders along the lines of harassment and discrimination. I strongly advise anyone considering a trip to Turf please reconsider your choice and go to a more respectable place like the Rose & Crown, Seamus McCaffreys, or even the Tilted Kilt instead.

Bartender was absolutely rude! Made an order canceled 2 min later due to an emergency bartender acknowledged my request And then later saw me outside waiting on my cab and insisted that I payed for the food I ordered even though I already canceled Which was adhered to ! I refused to pay because it is my right to! Of course I did so politely several times this girl insisted that I pay or else she would have to pay for it, though people who overheard the rambling offered to pay her and tip her as well for the food that I certainly did not want i mean not only did I have an emergency but food prepared in less than 5 minutes is undercooked and a lawsuit waiting to happen! Bartender insisted that I pay for it and it is not her fault that I cannot AFFORD food that I order ! Oh Im sorry is it because I am black why I cant afford food? Yea thats right ...!thats why youre a waitress and Im not ! Smh ! Ridiculous ! Very stupid girl. Unfortunately she wont lose her job and other professionals will have to deal with her ! Terrible experience ! Thank God I dont live in Phoenix !

Excellent service and catered to all of my group’s needs. I have been to the Turf several times before and always received very good service, the prices were fair, and food and drink were excellent. So when I decided to have a group get-together, I though what better place than the Turf. They reserved the specific area in the pub I requested for my group. Caroline was our hostess and did an outstanding job. Food was awesome and came out quickly and hot. She was very attentive the whole time we were there and made sure everyone had the opportunity to order more drinks before their glass was empty. They even turned the TV’s around our seating area to the specific game we were interested in. This is a very clean and modern Irish Pub, so you will not be disappointed. I see they now have off-track horse race betting there, so I will be sure to return soon and try my hand at that whilst enjoying a Guinness!

My friends and I went to Chambers for the 90s Bar Crawl last night. It was raining and the front patio was the only smoking area. It wasnt to bad except the cover was only a sun cover so you had to smoke out in the rain. We went to the bar to get drinks and after 1 minute a short hair girl with plugs came up and asked my friend for her order. She took my friends order then proceeded to assist others around us. We thought she was multitasking but after 5 minutes of her walkong back and forth we realized she was not going to serve us. This upset my friend so she turned to me and said we should just go to the next bar. Another bartender overheard and asked if she could take our order. My friend told her she had alreasy ordered from the other girl. This bartender did not look suprised. This bar was the slowest of all the bars that night and had the least amount of people.

Turf Accountant is a typical Irish themed pub owned by Arizona legends Seamus & Rosie McCaffrey of Belfast, Ireland. Seamus is the one who introduced Guinness to Phoenix. They also own sister pubs Seamus McCaffrey’s and Rosie McCaffrey’s, all three in the Phoenix metro area. The casual atmosphere is set with dim lighting, dark wood, and leather padded booths. They have a decent selection of beer on tap and reasonable prices especially during happy hour. The menu contains standard pub fare with their corned beef quesadilla being my personal favorite. The staff is always friendly and service is prompt. Turf is probably most notable for its off track horse betting and live simulcasts from some of the most popular tracks around the country.

I came here on a Saturday night expecting a busy crowd, but surprisingly it was very empty. The layout is pretty simple, a large bar and tables.I like the upstairs lounge area because the seats are very comfy and it feels more private. The drinks are good, tried both the monitor and cucumber martini. Both were on the sweet side, but still very tasty and plenty of liquor.A nice chill and laid back bar if you are ever in the area and need a drink!

The bar was pretty and the Guinness was good. But the food was bad and expensive. We had the bacon wrapped jalapeños. There were 2 jalapeños cut in half for$10. Also they were undercooked (too crunchy). Fish tacos were gross. Quesadilla was gross, 99% sure the rice was from a box of rice-a-Roni. Maybe they should not have Mexican food on the menu? Would not go back to eat, maybe if I just want a drink tho.

Ive been to many Irish Pubs and this one is the best yet. The staff was courteous and prompt. As far as the food it doesnt get more authentic than this. It was every bit as good as Seamus McCafferys. So if you are in the mood for a good Irish dish and service that is top notch I highly recommend visiting The Turf. I know Ill be back very soon. Thank you guys for the great service.

Great place to have lunch! I had the deluxe tuna melt, which came with avocado and bacon. Quite good! Draft beers are served in imperial pint glasses, and they have a decent selection to choose from. The patio in the front had plenty of seating and was pleasant, aside from the person smoking at another table.

Outstanding resturant. Steak fajita wrap was perfect (you will not regrwt paying a little extra for a side of baja rice). Spicey ranch chicken tacos were spot on. Fried pickles were lightly breaded and a great way to start a meal. Great dining and very reasonable. Atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing.
