Longtime Red Robin diner/customer. Ordered the Artic Cod Fish & Chips for the first time and what a disappointment. Pieces are quite small but the worst part is the taste. Nothing like ruining an appetite and fearing a re-order of this dish with the taste of old grease in the fryer being totally absorbed into the breading and pieces of Fish & Chips. I completely grossed out after the first bite. Truthfully, my dog had even turned it down and she loves fish!? The fries had the same thing and can visually see how much grease is soaked into them. I dont know why restaurants dont change the fryer often and sometimes not at all, which probably was the case with this order. Will be staying away from Red Robin for a long while or until they can get it together. Tempe location seems to always be consistent with serving a Quality meal. Maybe Arrowhead can learn a few techniques to improve with a simple visit. So sad to have to try and find another hamburger joint with quality food. Im not looking forward to all of thetrial and errors Ill probably encounter along the way to a better place. Maybe a little Quality Control from leads and Management will help. Who knows? Im not signing up for any revisits anytime soon. Best of Luck to you Red Robin. I hope you can pull it off and recreate what you once had, The Best Burger in Town.

I go to the Red Robin on McDowell and 99th all the time. So since I was at Arrowhead Mall decided to stop by this one on 4/1/17 with my wife for a quick bite. What a terrible decision. We sat at the bar top and not only were the bartenders not friendly, they forgot about our drinks. When my wife asked for another water, they took her glass (with the straw that she used) refilled it, and gave it to the man on the other side of me. The bartender walked off not even realizing her mistake and the man actually gave us her water back. Food came out not hot or warm, and they gossiped as well as complained about work right in front of us with other co-workers. One young lady said she was going home because she was sick and the others gave her grief about leaving until she said she just threw up in the bathroom. Great conversation to have while others are eating around you. My wife called the manager (Amy) and all she said was that, "She heard it was a rough night." and offered us a free meal. Thats great but outside of service but the meal was extremely poor too. For a Red Robin in a busy area, it is running far below average.

Well, I was with a party of three walked in wasnt acknowledged at all!!! There was a server that was braiding her hair !!!!! The whole time we were standing there being ignored by serveral staff members, she had her hands in her hair.Then we watch her struggle to put her bag away with one hand in her HAIR.. Finally, turns to us and says I can seat you guys in MY station you just have to WAIT UNTIL I FINISH MY HAIR.... UMMM NO THNAKS so I can countuine to recieve poor service and wonder the whole time if you washed your hands before you handled my food..ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! food wasnt worth it not great .. My server in fact was very good but I didnt feel welcomed at all by the hostess staff and extremly grossed out by the actions of the girl braiding her hair on the floor HEALTH CODE VIOLATION if she is that stupid to do that in front of everyone what is she doing in the back of the house that customers cant see? NEVER GOING BACK THERE ... whatever ..

Just got home with my favorite burger, The Shroom Burger, and I love mushrooms so as Im adding them to my hamburger, I fork a few in my mouth. As Im placing them on my deliciously looking hamburger, I feel that ugly feeling inside my mouth and happen to notice at the same time, theres a short black hair sticking up in between the mushrooms. Well that nasty feeling in my mouth was another hair. Completely grossed out, lost my appetite and I cant get that hair feeling out of my mouth. It looks like someone is losing their mustache or beard hair by the way its kind of bent. Its a really thick hair too. I hate when this happens, especially when you were really hungry before. Well its too long of a drive and Im tired from work, so I guess I dont eat tonight if I can get back my appetite. Completely disappointed again with Red Robin. Not sure if Ill chance another visit or not.

We came on a Sunday afternoon during Sprin training. We had a long wait to be seated, and a long wait to take our drink orders. Finally our waiter came by and took our orders. There were messy tables all around us, and our server was much more attentive to a bigger party than us. We only saw him once more after someone else dropped off our cold food. I sent mine back and mentioned to the manager we had poor service and were dining amidst a lot of filth. She and our lousy waiter immediately started to clean the messy tables which was great. They comped my cold meal and the manager took over our table since the water was much busier with his other customers. This place is hit or miss which frustrates us since we get good service and food when its good, however we have sent back many items because they were cold. We keep coming back always hoping for a better experience.

Our server was fantastic and meal was great! Our server Jaime was very attentive polite and made this a great experience. However, will not be returning to this location due to the management that was on staff last night. Manager on duty, Rhonda, was VERY unprofessional when we complained about another server telling someone to "shut the $&@! up and do what Im telling you too". Instead she reprimanded OUR server who did nothing and threatened to write her up in FRONT of us. Other servers apologized for the foul language in front of our 6 year old son but the server who cussed was not reprimanded OR apologetic. Again, out server Jaime was amazing! If you go in there make sure you sit in her section! Ps upper management was awesome when I made a formal complaint :) may just go back there because of the way upper management handled the situation.

One star is too much. The worst service ever. After waiting almost an hour to sit, we waited another 10 minutes just to give our drink order, where I also asked for French fries because my kids were starving. Waited another 5-10 minutes to get our drinks. During this time another family sat down in the next booth, placed their drink order with the same waitress. We received our drinks, no fries. Then the other family received their drinks with a few trays of fries. 10 more minutes passed, no fries, empty drinks on the edge of our table, and our waitress was taking other peoples orders. She took my glass and after 10 more minutes didnt return. We walked out and went to McDonalds. Absolutely ridiculous service. Understaffed. Poorly trained and unorganized. Next time we want restaurant quality burgers, were going to Fuddruckers!!!

My wife got the pig out tavern burger and in the menu description it says bacon and bacon enough said. When they brought the burger out to the table we thought they gave us the wrong burger there was no bacon. We sent it back and they torn 1 slice of bacon in half and placed on same burger and then turned the burger around in the wrapper to make it seem like they did something. The floor manager was very rude never said sorry and had a I dont care about the quality of your food or your experience at the restaurant look on his face. By this time the fries we cold so my wife sent it back again and ended up eating nothing. This was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had.
