I LOVED LOVED LOVED this place. The last 2 times my family went here I didnt enjoy it as much. On my last visits the servers were wonderful as being friendly and even remembered my family as coming in often. My Server Heidi took great care of us as always although she was very busy and they were short staffed. Our drink order got lost at the bar and we understood but after awhile we had to ask again and again. The boss lady Jenny took care of us above and beyond even comped our drinks for the wait. She was very nice and friendly. But when we were using our YELP check in coupon for the potato chips Heidi had to ask another manager how to use the free coupon she ask manager ANDREW and he came to the table and was just rude .. I told him that I had already showed Heidi my coupon and closed the app. He said he didnt trust his servers because he was one once, and he said in a rude tone "He was the MANAGER thats why he needed to see the coupon." Fine and dandy I was just worried the coupon had a expired be because it had a time limit from the time you checked in. Well I was able to retrieve it with no problem. but his demeanor was very rude and telling me he didnt trust his servers was very unprofessional. The other issue I have is that I once though that they had the worlds best wings traditional or strippers but lately they have been over cooked and dry I would say at least over the last 4 months. I do hope that they improve and get ride of ANDREW because I really did enjoy that restaurant. Ill go back in a few months and see how they are but from now im not happy

I never write reviews because I think its a waste of time but I feel like I need to be heard. I went here for dinner with my wife enjoying a what I wanted nice meal. The waiter took 15 mins to even get my drinks because they were to busy talking to other waiters. Then my food came out cold which was so sad because I though native was known for "wings". While we were eating the all the works come around a table and say it was someones last day. I mean thats nice good luck , but then they threw whip cream in her face and said it was a tradition. Im sorry but what kind of place has a tradition like that and while Im eating you throw this in her face and she screams and everyone is around video taping this. I would be ashamed as a manger to have such children working for my restaurant. I know refuse to eat at this location. The next day , I tried calling to speak a head manger. While the first person answered and by the way they were just as rude and were laughing while answering the phone. I asked for a manger and the person said okay let me get you one . Not even a second after saying that they hung up. The services is terrible and there is nothing but children working here. They dont know how to have RESPECT for people who are eating. I will now drive out of my way to another native to avoid this one. Trust me its not worth your money. I mean if you like waiting for your drink for 15 mins and having cold food and seeing someone get hit in the face with whip cream this will be the place for you. For me I found this to be the worst dine in experience of my life.

Went here tonight to have a good time. It was karaoke night and we had a fairly large group. Not disrespectful or anything, but large. My boyfriend and I racked up an $100 bill over the course of the night and ended up not tipping. I watched my margarita sit at the bar for ten to fifteen minutes, server was not warm or welcoming. We flagged him down only to be ignored, and my boyfriend had to get up several times to put in a drink order. I want to be clear here, the bartender and the kitchen staff did fine. Everything was correct and tasted good but it took forever to get to us. Karaoke staff was also great. After not tipping, but paying out $100 tab with no argument, we were asked to not come back. We were harassed by the bartended about not tipping and couldnt get a word in to discuss why we chose not to tip. We will not be supporting any natives any further and neither will the large groups of friends that we brought in tonight.

Terrible service. Ill start from the beginning. We get there, we walk in, waited 5 minutes to be seated when they werent busy at all. The hostess greets us and we can hardly understand what shes saying (possibly under the influence). Once we are seated, we wait another 15 minutes before our server comes by to take our drink order. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Another 15 minutes goes by and we have to flag another server down to get our drinks. We get our drinks then 5 minutes later our appetizer. Then our food comes 2 minutes after being served the appetizer and our foods cold. We try to speak with a manager and wait 20 minutes, nobody comes to our table. So we pay the bill and leave. Normally Im a generous tipper however, this was horrible service and they werent even busy!!!

Service was slow and it felt almost like we were imposing on the staff. With only two other patrons in the restaurant, no one was interested in watching TV and yet the volume was extremely high. Servers were passing a young child around from one server to another in the food aisle. This behavior caused me to wonder about the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and hand washing habits of the servers. After all, they are serving us our food. The food was iffy. The onion soup, a favorite of mine, was watered down. The server was quick to apologize and remove it from our bill without any hesitation. The strippers have gone from suicide hot and tasty to very salty. Do not go on Sunday. We have had better food and service at this location during the week.

TERRIBLE SERVER. ..this evening i went with one of my friends and service was so poor. We were neglected from start. If i want to be specific -- I had to ask 3 times for a glass. No water was served until I asked twice with only one straw for 2 glasses of water. My bourbon was served with lots of ice filled till top with no small straw to drink, it was literally impossible to drink with so much ice with no straw. If possible I would like to give negative star for my visit this evening to Native Grill at Mesa Dr and Brown at Mesa, AZ. I dont even know if they care about customer review.....Girish

Ive always enjoyed Native New Yorker. Love their ambiance and food but this one on Brown in Mesa had the worst customer service. Had a server by the name of Brittany who should not be in this industry. She took forever to check on us. I asked for a glass of water and after 10 minutes I had to go to the bar to ask the bartender for one. When Brittany saw me at the bar she rushed to bring the water to the table and left before I made it back. Never apologized. After that her attitude was just the worst.
