Im sorry this is super long. Im really not a picky person at all, but this experience was just too painful to let someone else have to go through it. Everything about it was horrible. If I had to say a few good things it would be. At least the waitress was friendly. The place was clean and... Ummm. No. Thats about it. We arrived at a time when it was NOT busy. We were the 2nd clients in the whole place, plus a couple at the bar. The waitress was new and was clueless about the menu. She had to go and ask in the back every single thing we asked her. Once we ordered, we got our waters and 10 minutes later a basket of bread. Needless to say that was the only water we got the whole time...then we waited...and waited...and waited. If it hadnt been because I had 2 very hungry kids who at this point had eaten all the bread I honestly would have left. Even the 4 year old started saying " why are they taking so long?!". I wish I would have taken the time but Im not lying when I say we waited anywhere from 45 min to an hour for the first of the 2 things we ordered to come out. We only ordered a pizza and salmon . The menu said : Salmon with spinach and potatoes. It was for my mom who was visiting and I felt so embarrassed at what they brought her. Salmon on one corner of the plate, Spinach on the other and a slice of lemon. Not only were the potatoes missing, but zero presentation. Half the plate seemed empty and sad. When we asked about the potatoes she simply said, oh yes were sorry. We dont have any potatoes....Im sorry, what?! You dont have potatoes. You see we order a dish with potatoes and yet you dont tell us, make us wait 45 min and then simply say sorry?? WE were the ones who had to ask for them to be replaced with something else. Another veggie, something! Would you like more spinach? Ummm no. Do you not have anything else? In the end all they had was pasta so we took what we could get at this point and kept waiting for the pizza.... 5 minutes later and still no pizza. 10 min later finally. It was ok. For wood fired I honestly expected it to be better but lets say it was ok. About 10 min later moms pasta came out. Super greasy. Super super greasy. Could this get any worse! By now were just trying to get the kids fed and done with dinner so we can get out... no water since waitress was busy with other tables. We finally left and then had to wait another 5 minutes in front of the register to pay... Im sorry but if youre the owner and are not aware of the terrible service your clients are receiving, please do something to make other peoples experience better than ours. Dinner should be an enjoyable experience especially when youre going out and paying for it.

I have stopped here from time to time. Interesting thing, they get better each time I stop in. It may be my selectios. First pizza, so generic of me. Then spagetti. And now the lobster ravioli. Mua! Magnifico. I was taken aback by their new house win. It was delectable. California wins have never quite lived up to my French tastebuds. But this, I was pleasantly surprised. A solid 8. The aeromatics will delight. Now, I am slightlysad in posting this as I know they are going to grow quickly once noticed. But,if only for a moment, I was able to unwind and enjoy a pallet pleasing meal. Go now, before the crowds, I know this will be a hit. If I was to guess why they have not grown, it would be because they sit in the shadow of a Home Depot. Whod think of amazing meals next to a Home Depot. Usually its one of the average cgain stores. How passa. By the way, that is what I ding them for in my star rating.

Was one of our favorite Italian restuarants until now. We had friends who stayed with us and wanted to take us out for supper. We chose Il Forno ( as we have many times before). We waited over 20 minutes before a server approached us to order drinks. We decided to order our meals at the same time, to avoid waiting. Another 30 minutes 1/2 of our meal came. We finished our meal before the 2nd meal arrived ( we all ordered Ravaloni) We refused the 2nd meal, then I approached the manager ( who suddenly showed up after customers started complaing) and other than Im sorry said nothing else. We didnt expect it, but felt a discount or future coupon would have helped, but nothing. Such a shame such a wonderfull place has gone so down hill. Derek Johnston

Very good service, excellent food, and a friendly atmosphere with happy banter between the staff and the customers. The veal parm and spaghetti was some of the best I have eaten in AZ, NY, or Europe. Their sauces are freshly made, the pasta is homemade, and the owner told us they also make their own cheeses. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The owner was pleasant to chat with as we waited for our food to arrive at the table. The lasagna was equally impressive and was a large enough serving to eat only half and bring the rest home for the weekend meal.

We came here a little after 5:00 PM on a Friday night. Right as we pulled up, two of the staff left, while another one stayed behind and locked the door. Needless to say, they did not come to the door after we knocked a few seconds later and we were not let in. What kind of service is that?! And closed on a Friday night? Crazy. We will never be coming back to try this place. It seems like they dont understand service or the restaurant business. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Service was horrible & food was worse. we waited over 20 minutes to put in our order..chicken was under cooked but when we highlight the issue the manager & chef determine customer (I) was wrong.. Egg plant parmigiana dish was a joke for $16 - one slice of egg plant with cheese on it was not a dish.. our total with a $40bottle of wine was $90. Drive to a true Italian restaurant..and save your money.

Came for the lasagna at 5pm and was told it wasnt ready yet. We asked when it would be ready and she said not until tonight. We live down the street and could come back so we pressed for a time. We then were told it probably wouldnt be ready tonight. Stayed and had lobster ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs. For "homemade" the price and only bread and pasta we expected fantastic but it was just ok

I get my pizza almost every week at IL Formo. I also love the pasta and sausage parmagan hero. I am from Long Island and been to Italy. 3 times. So I am a tough grade when it comes to Italian food. This place in my opinion has the best Italian food. Red White and Brue used to be my favorite IL Forno has better Italian food and then pizza is better. Reminds me of the food in Palermo Sicily.

I will not be eating there again! I had $100 gift certificate someone gave us and there was a short experation period 30 days I believe in very small print and they would not even begin to take it, matter of fact they were down right rude about it. Just a waste of one hundred dollars. We had ordered like $56 of food so paid and promise to never return.
