Five Guys has the best fries. Its a fact. The fries are cut from whole potatoes - skins and all. The size of the fries are the correct size. Other places cut their fries too thin - looking at you In-N-Out and Smashburger. Five Guys provide the option of Cajun seasoning on their fries and that is the way to go. If you want ketchup they have the awesome catsup pump so you can fill several paper ketchup containers with delicious catsup. They also have malt vinegar for our friends from across the pond. The burgers are smaller than some competitors, but more than make up for it by offering fresh sliced jalapeños. You can dictate quite a few exotic burger toppings like grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, the aforementioned fresh jalapeños. Missing however is a fried egg like the very best burger joints offer. Ordering tip: unless you specifically order a "little" burger youll get a double patty. Its embarrassing to have to say the shriveled word "little" before the Thor-like word "burger", but the double patties are unnecessary due to all the glorious additions, and you can save some $.

OK. $18.91 for 1 Little Cheeseburger, 1 Little Hamburger, 1 regular French fry, 1 regular Cajun French fry and 2 regular cokes. My wife said, and I quote, “The Cajun fry’s don’t taste as bad as they smell”. She had 1 and threw the rest away! The burgers were ok but when she ate a piece that fell out of hers, she didn’t taste much of anything at all. The regular fries were “dry”, that’s the only way I can describe them. I only ate them to wash my burger down, and even then they were soaked with malt vinegar. As we left we decided that the best part was the cool coke machine. If you go you’ll see what I mean. I hate to be so brutal but I really can’t imagine anyone liking the fries and the burger is only slightly better than McDonalds and for the price, it should be allot better. I’m no devotee but In-N-Out is much better and the same meal was 10.98. The peanuts were better than Texas Roadhouse though.

I go to the Five Guys in Tempe more often than this location, but the burgers at Five Guys are the most flavorful around. Ive tried In n Out and was horribly disappointed by the dry tiny piece of "meat" they gave me. Five Guys is the exact opposite. They are fresh juicy patties that taste great. I also love the fries made in peanut oil. I only get a single patty burger and the price is great. When I go there with my wife we can both get a burger and a drink, and we usually share a regular fry, because theyre huge! (at least at the Tempe location they always are, not sure that they give you as much here). We end up quite full for less than $15, and it really is the best tasting burger weve found anywhere. I would choose Five Guys over In n Out, Red Robin, or any other fast food burger place. Its more flavorful, fresh and cheaper, so for me it wins.

I cannot believe I paid that much ($9 small burger/small fries no drink) and waited that long (15 mins on December 26th around 12:15) for such a tasteless piece of meat surrounded by a bun. I have passed 5 Guys for years but thought I would bring my daughter here and find out what the "hype" was all about. I would have had a better cheeseburger at McDonalds though I will stick to In-N-Out which is superior in price and quality. Hopefully the management will see this and give me a full refund, 12/26/16, 12:16:41 PM, 5 Guys, 1902 S Val Vista Dr, Ticket #31, total $9.70. Feel free to credit my card ending in 1200. Thanks

I like my burger overly done. On the verge of being burnt and I understand when a restaurant doesnt fully understand that, but Ive never had a cashier literally tell me "No, we cant do that." When I asked for my burger to be dried out a bit. They said "we can make it well done" but well done isnt how I like me burger cooked as it still has juice left in it. After going back and forth and me repeatedly asking if they were serious that they were going to refuse to cook something they way I ask, we just walked out vowing to never give a dollar to Five Guys.

Five Guys almost reaches perfection as a burger joint but falls only due to price. I love how they let you pick so many different toppings and condiments to put on your burger. The burgers and fries are always cooked perfectly and taste extremely fresh. Their fry orders are enormous so make sure to share with others you come with. Even their soda machine is incredible with hundreds of different choices. However, $10 for a fast food burger with shared fries and a drink is simply too high of a price to stomach.

This is one really great tasting burger joint. The patties are a little greasy but the flavor is outstanding! All you do is get a hamburger, which comes with 2 patties, or a junior burger, which just comes with one. Then you tell them what you want on it. Its that simple. Very good food! I would recommend that if you were going to get an order of fries that you get the small order. They fill this cup up with fries and then they usually put another big handful on top of that. Its enough for 2 people to share.

The review below me is a lie. The drink is $2, fries $3 and a double burger is $5, that doesnt add up to $8, we all know that. I have been there three times, each time expecting better. It is an average burger. The bacon is cheap, the cheese is cheap, everything is low quality. There is nothing special about this place. I had an in n out 3 x 3 burger tonight and it ten times better than five guys. Dont waste your money at this place. You will only be dissapointed.

$11 for the smallest of all portions of a cheeseburger, drink, and fry is insane. The coke machine was cool, but tasted like garbage, it has the taste of something not cleaned in awhile. The burger was just ok and the fries were tolerable. The music was so loud i literally couldnt hear my music through my own headphones, i cant imagine trying to have a conversation with anyone over the sound. Ill never return and wont recommend it to anyone i know.

The cheeseburgers are good. Theyre not the biggest but they are juicy and have a good flavor. The bacon was a bit crispy and they put a good amount of it. Five Guys has some of the best fries among the fast food type restaurants. They fry them to a nice golden brown, which gets them nice and crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. They also give you a lot of fries. One small order should be enough to feed a couple people.

OMG! The best burger ever, I found my newest favorite place to go for a burger. The service was fast & friendly. Yes, they are kind of high priced for a small burger joint however totally worth it. You would spend that much or more at a place like Applebees or Chilis and not anywhere close to the quality & taste you get from Five Guys. You people who cant handle juiciness & quailtly pricing, go to Mc Donalds!
