I usually go to the Olive Garden by Chandler usually on a Saturday date night or Sunday Lunch, but today to support a friend I went to the one by her house instead on a Tuesday night. When we were being seated I notice there was still food all on my side of the chair. I was expecting the host to address it, but took her too long to react so I just wiped off the seat myself and dismissed it. Our server was very friendly and tended to us as needed. Now when we got our bread sticks and salad it was very dry and our salad plate was hot! So because we were at a new place, I thought maybe they do this backwards here and the small plate is cold and the larger one was hot. Later on when he brought out the breadsticks plate that too was hot. I got over it because I was there for the wine and meal than anything else. I had tried your sample of white wine and immediately the taste of chicken over power the taste of wine. The wine was delicious I just wish I could of enjoyed it without the taste of some ones chicken in my mouth. I should of looked at the glass because I realize it was dirty and probably should of known since my table was dirty they probably didnt switch out the old wine glass or it was probably wasn’t rinse out properly well without needing to say much I was brought another glass and ordered the wine I was originally there for. For my main course I ordered the “Parmesan Crusted New York Strip Steak” my steak I ordered medium rare. When they first brought it out to me it was overly cooked with no trace of pink. My server did apologize because he thought I said medium well. So he had talk to the manager, which by the way she did not apologize or even try to have a decent convo about the matter she just stood behind the server and I am not asking for special treatment but I do expect a manager to be more involve when dealing with a complaint. They did come with my dish which was supposed to be a medium rare. I wish I could of showed you the picture of this before I went home and gave to my neighbor and he cooked it himself. It was ALL RED and had no traces of brown. The manager then said is this fine and I looked at it and was so disappointed and even my server was shock to see what he was looking at. I have ordered my food medium rare many times in the past and I have never had my food delivered looking so raw. I was disappointed and disgusted they would expect me to eat this raw steak so I just asked for a to-go box waited for my coworker to finish her food. They didn’t charge me for the meal and my server was very apologetic so I did tip him over 20 percent because he was a great sport and I know it wasn’t his fault for the cook’s lack of knowledge in cooking steak. I didn’t mind paying for it if they made it right. I am there for the food and to enjoy it and not for a cheap deal or I would have just went to some fast food joint. Out of all the times I ever visit olive garden I have never had a bad experience, this is the far worst experience I had ever had.

"Thanks for the gluten in my gluten-free pasta!" - someone with Celiacs disease. We ordered out from this Olive Garden location on Thursday, April 20, 2017 before flying out the next morning. The food is typical Olive Garden: dry, not much sauce, passable. The staff were non-existant, or more specifically, I waited 5-10 minutes before someone came to take my order. But the biggest issue can be seen in the photo I attached to my review. If you look at the bottom of the take-out bowl, youll see a piece of fettuccine mixed in with the gluten-free pasta. The fettuccine is regular pasta. I found it after eating most of the dish. Now I have celiacs disease, and carefully explained this to the staff, and was assured that "they take precautions" and "the kitchen staff will be notified." Someone didnt get the message. If you dont suffer from celiacs disease (or a related ailment), then its no biggie. But to advertise a gluten-free menu, re-assure a customer who has informed you of the allergy, and still make this mistake is inexcusable. I hope this serves as a warning to those with food allergies: avoid this location. Im trying to figure out how it happened in the first place, and my guess is the kitchen staff reused a pot without washing it out properly. I would implore the franchisee to re-train their staff on how to prep for customers with allergies. And finally, its really not fun taking a plane when youre reacting to gluten.

I could write a book about this experience... I was at Olive Garden in Mesa last night for my friends (Cameron) birthday gathering. Everything went well with the exception of the end. When everyone was getting ready to leave, most of the party was sitting outside waiting on Cameron to collect his things. Cameron came outside and said "This is for you" and gave my boyfriend a handwritten note with the number of the server who waited on us. I was appalled and taken over by embarrassment and humiliation. Ive already called and spoke to one of the managers (Lisa) at this location and she apologized for what happened and offered to send me a gift card. I dont feel a gift card is quite enough to mask the humiliation that I endured because of an unprofessional waiter. I dont take comfort knowing that I tipped over 20%, only be slapped in the face moments later by the same server who I thought was so great. It never occurred to me that I would have to worry about my server the same why I have to worry about someone in the club. Thanks Olive Garden!

The 1 bartender was outfreakinstanding the other wasnt and it went downhill from there. The table was dirty I said 3 times to the hostess the table needs cleaning all she wanted was too get through her speech came back with a wet rag that left the table wet had to ask her to dry it off. The the waitress took it apon herself to place our appetizer order before we could decide which one we want on the kiosk. Went downhill even farther went she sprayed sparkling water all over the table opening it. Appetizer and soup were cold and she forgot and was late with extra sause we ordered. Management offered free deserts which was brought out without clearing the table no room to put it, coffee look like tea because it was ran thought without placing new grounds in. Espresso they replaced it with was cold. No body could make this up it was just bad!!!

We have been a regular at Olive Garden and I guess we like it otherwise we wouldnt go there. We were there this week and something I noticed that I thought share it with readers. Like other chains,Olive Graden is also cutting back on the portions and jacking up their prices. I understand everyone should make profit but this place was not a fancy restaurant to charge these ridiculous prices and get these small portions. If they dont change and change quickly they are going the same directions of other businesses closed down in recent years. We will give it another chance to see they have restored the previous portions then we switched to other restaurants. I am not big eater, but it was nice to bring the liftover home and eat it during the week.
