I wish I could rate their food but I never got any. I went in and placed a to go order meanwhile about half the restaurant was empty and there was a large group of people waiting to be sat. After 20 minutes I asked to have my order checked and was told they were just putting it in. I called the manager after I left and was given the excuse that there were people ahead of me and they did not forget to out the order in.... 20 minutes for food in a breakfast place? I am sorry but that is a lie and shame on you for making excuses like that. Your host went back to check on the pocket ticket and they realized they had screwed up, I worked in restaurants when I was younger and I know how it works. First time customer and not likely to ever be back.

Went for b-fast today for hubbys birthday. Disappointing to say the least. First was the 30 minute wait for a table, OK...they were busy. But then there was a 35+ minute wait for our food! Now we probably wouldnt have minded as much, except the server came over at least 8 times saying "I put your order in right away, dont blame me!" My lemon ricotta pancakes were great! But my husbands meal didnt come out for another 10-15 minutes after mine & then it was barely warm. Wait for another plate that was hot??? Not after all the time we had already waited! Granted, the manager comped the whole meal, and that was appreciated; but apparently we were not the only ones that had issues. Sorry, dont think well be back.

Ive never been to a place like this before, the food and drinks are so healthy and good for you my boyfriend and I had to try as much as possible. We spent Valentines morning here and we left so full it was hard to stay awake afterwards. Theres an AM Superbowl made with chia seeds, coconut milk, granola, strawberries and blueberries. Served with almond bread and peanut butter it was the most delicious thing Ive ever tasted. We got this to go after we had our meals w/ our freshly squeezed O.J. and we were just going to try it but we finished it all. So we each took a drink to go I got a Kale Tonic he got a Meditation? I dont remember name it was new red and yellow and they were both very good!

This place is pretty busy over the weekend so we usually call our order in and pick it up. The food is usually pretty good, when they can manage to get the order right. After todays visit, they are at 40% accuracy. Its the same order each time... Today I decided to call in to ask about a possible refund for the items I was missing and was hung up on (I know what youre thinking but I was calm, I didnt raise my voice once and didnt deserve to be hung up on). Called back in to speak to management and got excuses. Very frustrating.

I tried to place an order to go over the phone and I had to call 3 times because no one would answer by the 3rd time the women on the phone had such an attitude. I ordered an oatmeal with a side of pancakes and asked how many pancakes the side comes with and she was quick to say "ummm you order per pancake" and when I asked if the oatmeal comes with fruit on it and she said "umm ya what else would it come with?" Not a very pleasant person but food is great

Beautiful, clean, hip breakfast place. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it. Delicious Avocado toast, eggs Benedict, French toast, and pancakes. Fresh pressed juices, and cold brewed coffee available. Try the strawberry, lemon, Basil juice, so fresh & tart it will defiantly wake you up! The eggs were cooked to perfection, as was everything else we ordered. Staff front & back of house are excellent, thank you for our lovely breakfast.

Came here for the first time today. Service was pretty bad. Waited 15 minutes before our waitress even greeted us after being seated. After ordering we waited another 30 minutes to finally be served cool eggs and cold toast. Potatoes are only served with onions---not everyone loves onions by the way and there werent any alternative to have potatoes without onions. I was excited to try this place--never again. Back to Village Inn.

Im a Regular with a toddler. They are always gracious and every single employee nice and always happy. The door is phenomenal, every item Ive ordered has been so fresh and delicious. Has the best pancakes Ive ever had (banana granola is my fav) if Ive ever had an issue they are so quick to fix it and never seem irritated which is refreshing. The wait can be long but I just go after 10 and never have to wait.

Wife and I had breakfast there today and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was quite busy with a 10 to 15 minute wait (we were called at 11 minutes, but whos counting). Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, my wife had the "Bacodo" Omelette and I had the "Parma Skillet Hash", the food arrived in a timely manner considering how busy the restaurant was. We will be back!

There was quite a crowd when we arrived. I ordered the pumpkin pancake breakfast and the eggs were delicious, but the pancakes did not taste like pumpkin at all. In fact, they tasted like a box mix. I tried my moms lemon ricotta pancakes and they were fantastic. Not sure why the pumpkin ones fell flat. :/ the service was good, however, and the bill was reduced by 20% because of the wait for food.

Fun place with great breakfast options. They have healthy and not so healthy options! Kids menu is good and portion sizes are large. The trifecta is a classic combo or you can try the chickichanga - a breakfast riff with eggs, chorizo, avacado, chicken and a side of potatoes. They even have fresh pressed juices. Tip- use the No Wait app to snag a place in line... This place gets busy!

We have gone to other locations and have loved it! We waiting twenty minutes for a table on Easter wasnt that bad. However, we were upset to have 3 people eating while two people had no food. One plate was cold and two were reheated. Being in the restaurant business you know consistency is key for returning customers. We are warning you so you may choose another location.

THE Good Egg WAS awesome, this is Not the Good Egg, Staff was really nice, place was clean but nearly empty, food was ehhh, dont recommend the biscuits and gravy, and sides of omlet was side salad? Ok sure, but the Flavors and texture was way off, maybe I guess unique but not what i remember of the EGG. Almost like the gravy was blendered. Patatos we awesome,

A summer, Saturday visit at 8am.. had zero wait and delicious, healthy food that we were eating in no time. The waitress was delightful, too. My son was super excited about his omelette and he wolfed down the whole grain toast and used every last bit of the preserves, commenting that they must go to CA for their strawberries :)

This is my go-to breakfast place. The decor is lovely, the food is always tasty, and the service is fantastic. Ellen is the most caring server Ive had the pleasure of meeting and I am thrilled each time I see her working. Try the waffles, they are the lightest, most flavorful sweet breakfast item you can find in Mesa!
