Currently marrying a veteran myself, an I noticed before a family member started working there that you supported veterans. Which would be fantastic if I had been belittled an humiliated while giving a small tip. Im strapped every pay check an had heard the food was amazing my sister just started working there said she could split the bill with her discount (Since not all of the food was mine). Later to find out my waiter is in fact the manager named Ian. He ignored me, called me names, an gave me a cup with dirty goo stuck to the outside rim. Had to remind him of food I had ordered. And I left him a tip of the remaining cash I had. Which then took it out on my sister as she began her shift. I will never go back, nor will I ever recommend this place for any friends or family. I wont apologize for giving you a tip with all the money I had, but you should rethink your approach to customer service. I dont deserve to be bullied by someone who got upset because I complained to your boss. Now the front coffee part they are always amazing especially Paige? I hope I spelt her name correctly. She was always so sweet an kind to my son. Made it bareable. To bad the rest of the staff couldnt be upbeat an respectful like her an some of the other decent staff.

Would someone PLEASE buy this restaurant away from the current owners!!! This place could be SO awesome, so well located and SO successful but word on the street is that the current owners are so disconnected from the place and when they ARE connect show they really should not be in the restaurant business...nor ever really have been. The beers, FANTASTIC....the food, when they are consistent, AWESOME....the service, well, meh. Their coffee is mediocre (and often run out), the place looks like it was decorated and laid out by a 17 year old boy, and the furniture looks second hand...and not very comfortable. The hostesses are hilariously stressed....the waiters do the "one table and back to the kitchen" table checks.... The sad thing is that it FILLS UP/gets busy....not only because of the location but THERE IS NOTHING BETTER IN THE AREA. Experienced restaurateurs, PLEASE save the Litchfield and Camelback area! Youre our only hope! If you are looking for GREAT service and food and do not mind driving the extra distance, Saddle Mountain Brewing on Estrella. Until Ground Control, which is .8 miles from my house, gets its act together, this is my place.

Have been multiple times and little by little the service gets worse. When we 1st started going the servers would get to you quick, the food was made right away and was brought to us nice and hot and ready to eat. The last 3-4 times we have gone it has taken the waiters more than 10 minutes to come and ask for drink orders. Food has been cold by the time we get it. Last night our waiter came to our table twice and we had to ask him to bring us the check. He would walk by us and look at us sideways not asking us anything. My daughter and I went in one morning and waited about 15 minutes at the counter to get a coffee and order a burrito and the lady didnt even say hello to us until I told my child ok lets go then she turned and said "Oh hi how can I help you?". We said no thanks and walked out. Great food, great drinks but the terrible service has made us never want to go again. Its unfortunate because I am a beliver in helping local companies and restaurants but it has gotten terrible.

My boyfriend and I went to this establishment because it is military owned and my boyfriend is active duty air force. We walked in and there was no one at the coffee bar and a sign that said please wait to be seated. We waited for 5 minutes and no one came up to see what we wanted. There were only 2 tables taken with a total of 5 people in the place. The cook looked out several times looking directly at us and the 4 people standing behind us. The large, tattooed, greasy haired waitress also stared at us for several minutes ignoring our existence. I never did get the coffee I wanted after standing there for 15 minutes with several other customers that walked out due to the lazy inconsiderate slobs not wanting to do their jobs. If I owned this establishment I would hire ANY other unemployed American out there.

Work nearby so it usually is my go to place for a quick drink, went over for lunch for the first time and it seems they were swamped , which is no problem for me but it seems it was a problem for the staff. It took 20 minutes for someone to notice I was there, another 10 min to have them bring my water. Meanwhile I was watching the chaos happening (checks were not being given out correctly, people complain about waiting, and even someone accidentally paying for someone elses check). Waitress offered me a free drink for the wait, which is great but Ground Control needs to address this. I would assume lunch time is their bread and butter, so it needs to be up to par with other restaurants. I am open to changing my opinion, but for now I will not be going again.

Booked a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a going away party. Confirmed that they could accommodate the amount of people a week prior. We show up 15 minutes to seven, and nothing was ready for us. 30 minutes later we are still not seated. When we asked what the confusion was about, the manager lied and said someone had called her and told her that fewer people would be coming, which was not true at all. On top of this, the manager was extremely rude and not helpful. Half of our group simply left because of her attitude. We were not able to get waited on while we were there. The service has always sucked here. It seems like the less Lt. Col Rassas is involved, the worse it gets. Its a shame that my buddy had to leave the Air Force on such a downer.

5 of us went there on Saturday afternoon ready to eat good food and enjoy a cold beer. It was my first time there and I doubt we will go back. It was busy which I believe is normal for a hot Saturday afternoon. We sat at a dirty table (its open seating), the only one free to fit our size. I noticed they were busy so I cleaned up the table with spilt water and a napkin. No big deal. I dont mind doing that. BUT! We sat at that dirty table for about 7 minutes without any recognition from the wait staff. It seems like the 2 waiters were too busy/overwhelmed to even smile at us. They were under staffed and inexperienced. So disappointing. We ended up going to Reds at the Wigwam which was a delightful experience!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place still standing, we came here a few times a couple years back, but was disappointed this time because the service was extremely slow although there were hardly any other guests present. We came by to have some coffees and maybe a treat, we ended up only having one cappuccino (which was delicious but got cold really fast) and a giant cookie w/ vanilla ice cream (also tasty) we only had one cappuccino because the server took too long to check on us or a refill and we had to leave. Im not a huge fan of their interior/atmosphere but would like to check it out one more time in the evening or during a tasting event.
