Workers are friendly and go out of their way to help you, but there are quite a few things that bother me since I started shopping at Publix a few months ago: Three times I purchased items (mostly dairy items) that were way over their expiration date. On another occasion I have been overcharged, which was corrected, but nevertheless, as a consumer I expect two things: products to be fresh and to be charged prices according to the labels. Its a small store, so those things should be doable.

Most of the products at Publix are good, ie: can goods, Cereals, milk, etc. However, their produce is a joke. I have purchased sweet potatoes, fruits, and salad greens. The potatoes were rotten in their core, so were some of the fruits Ive purchased. The salad greens are a hit or miss but it seems that the core of them as well have been rotten. So as a precaution for my grocery needs I only get dry goods. THere are other venues for fresh fruits and vegetables.

This is my favorite Publix location to shop at, and thats including any stores out of tuscaloosa/northport and also on the bham side of hoover & mccalla. Ive never experienced anything negative. Their produce is the best IMO and they have the best and friendliest employees, along with a great CS team. I will gladly take all of my business there! The location is a little hectic at rush hour considering it is basically on campus, but that is to be expected.

My experience here largely depends on the time of day and day of the week. Horrible on Sunday nights, not bad in the middle of the week. Sometimes their produce is fine, sometimes everything is out of stock. Overall, I would recommend it, especially if you can capitalize on the bogo deals!!

Very friendly staff and extremely convient if you live on campus or near the university. Prices are a bit higher and selection is a bit more limited than other larger locations but highly recommend it for small things because of the convient location.

Convenient location for students on campus, but more expensive than other options father away. Dont park here and go somewhere other than Publix because they have a patrol and will tow you.

Very expensive but close to campus. I actually used to walk here from my dorm. And they accept bama cash, which Ive used before. The item quality is good, parking lot is weird and small.
