This location used to be a different Korean place, buy was closed down and reopened with some light remodeling and completely new menu back in December (2016). So Gong Dong is part of a chain with several locations around the US and at least one in Korea. This is absolutely my favorite place in town for Korean food. Great selection of all the normal staples on the menu, reasonably priced, great service, and the food was great. I loved the grilled mackerel and the clam jigae, and the LA galbi ribs were so delicious.

Ive had their Bibimbap on the stone plate for lunch twice - large portions and served with the customary small dishes of vegetables and a cold barley water/tea. It was excellent! Im looking forward to having their Bulgogi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I think this now our "go to" Korean restaurant.

The best Korean food in the southeast. The food was delicious! Very authentic. Large portions, the most friendly staff ever and very fair prices! I absolutely love this place and wish I lived here because Id be going to this restaurant all the time!
