First the good. The decor is quirky and reminds one of grandmas house and gives the feel of a classic small town cafe/diner. The prices are very reasonable. The food and service was very quick so if you are looking to get in and out that is a plus. Now the bad. The hostess greeted me and my wife and then walked away with two menus in her hand. We hesitantly followed not sure if we should or not and found out yes, we were supposed to follow her as she took the menus to an empty table. A mild annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless. The vegetables in the eggs I ordered were not cooked at all, almost as if they were thrown in as an afterthought. The pancakes were okay as were the hashbrowns, however within my hasbrowns were two random pieces of ham. So either they dont clean their grill after every meal or they cook so many at the same time that some items of another meal cross contaminate another meal, which for most is annoying, but for those with food allergies could be dangerous. And finally the bacon tasted as if it was cooked in the same grease as the last 20 orders of bacon. Overall this is a cafe that serves very average breakfast food at a very good price and very quickly, however the quality is inconsistent and finding someone elses food particles in my meal is worrying. If you dont care about all of that, then by all means go on in. If you want a breakfast to remember and top quality...stay away. Oh...and a fly was buzzing around our table.

This place is terrible!!!!!! It started from the moment we walked in. The nescafe frap was a glass of watered down milk with a sprinkle of the chocolate powder. We did have the Wisconsin cheese soup which wasnt horrible but it was more of a cheese dip than soup. We also ordered the eggs Benedict and found a hair stringed in with the hashbrowns. The manager acted very nonchalant about the situation. Instead of being apologetic and offering to comp our meal he still charged us for the "nescafe", tomato juice and "cheese soup." All in all, we definitely will not be coming back.

Staff was friendly, was seated quickly. Maybe everyone else eats eggs here. Had the Belgium Waffle with cherries. Almost couldnt finish it. Barely enough syrup and it was the worst cherry pie filling Id ever had and too much of it. At least it was ham off the bone.

Breakfast isnt bad I would stay away from lunch and dinner however since the restaurant across the street closed the owner of this place is gouging people on prices come on guy its Wauconda not South Berrington
