August 20, 2016 I came here today to eat lunch, on my way in a man who appears to be homeless (of course I cant be 100% sure) asked for any spare change and we came in and bought him a to go plate. The woman who cashed him out whom I can not name because she didnt have on a name tag but I will assume she is a manager due to her red shirt provided terrible service. When he asked for a cup of ice, in which she did charge me for, she then told him she hoped he didnt do like the others and go behind the building and put alcohol in it. I think that was a pretty awful thing to say due to the fact she has no idea what he is going through or wether or not he was truly homeless. I paid the 17$ for his to go plate so no comment from her besides a greeting should have been at all necessary. You guys should really hold some classes for customer service. I wish I couldve gotten this womans name but if shes reads this shell knows it was her and I hope she gets a serious attitude make over. this encounter made me loose my appetite all together. will never go back

They seem to be under new management. I know this because I overheard him explaining that they were not permitted to display this by corporate, in response to a question posed by what appeared to be a regular patron. The manager was very attentive to the operations of the restaurant, checking on the status of service not only with the customers but also making rounds every 30 minutes or less. He also was actively involved with helping staff. Food was fresh and made in small portions to keep it from getting old or creating waste if it was not used. I observed the staff changing out food that was beginning to look old. The taste of the food was great. My waitress was attentive but may have had too large of an area to cover on her own.

I have eaten at all the Golden Corrals in the Mobile area -- I prefer the one in West Mobile because they usually have the good sauteed mushrooms. Other than a dried out piece of pizza that my niece had, I have never had bad food from any Golden Corral restaurant....it has all been really good. The yeast roll with extra honey butter is what keeps me frequenting this diet-no-no buffet. lol The salad choices are awesome, as are the desserts. The variety is unreal. You do take your chances when people are dishing themselves their own food, but there are servers watching the buffets constantly. Ive had too many waitresses who let me run out of drink so I cant give positive remarks on the service, but the value and food are great!

We eat at the golden corral while traveling. We usually enjoy it, not here. This was probably the worst GC Ive ever seen. First the bathrooms were horribly nasty. Second, the meat selection was skimpy at best. What was left of the fried chicken was dry as leather. Now we were late getting there for lunch, but, at 1:00 pm it should not have been in the shape this one was in. I went to the counter to ask if they were cooking steaks, the lady behind the counter asked if I could read, and they dont serve grilled meat till 4:00 pm. Next we were sitting at our table and listening to how the waitress was being run to death, This was overall NOT one of the Golden Corrrals better restaurants to visit.

Absolutely disgusting. Food was everywhere, all over the floor, stuffed under buffet stands, kitchen doors were open.. FOOD ALL OVER THE FLOOR. Everything was labeled wrong, cold, gross OLD STALE food. We never even seen our server, no drinks, rolls, refills, plates cleared nothing?? Worst thing,... what is it with people in MOBILE, ALABAMA.??? We seen 3 people eating off the buffet with their fingers.. one of the employees wiped her NASTY face with a NASTY rag and then took the SAME rag and wiped the spilled macaroni BACK INTO THE MACARONI PAN!!! .. Dirty plates, outhouse bathroom.. it was horrifying,.. YUCK!!!

Just ate lunch here and it was a disturbing experience. Witnessed an employee picking up a cleaning bucket off the floor sat it on the counter next to a ham that was open and had been sitting there quite a while. When i informed the manager he took the bucket put it back on the floor never wiped the counter top and left the ham sitting on the counter. After about twenty mins of watching employees wipe counters with the same rag they use to change out the food with and watching a ham sit open exposed (as u can see in the picture i posted) to bacteria and germs I was done. I will NEVER eat here again!

This is an older restaurant in the area, but there is always a great array of choices, and even the pickiest eater can find something pleasing. I always love the fried fish, the fried chicken, the post roast with potatoes and carrots like Mama used to make... and there is always a special - steaks, ham, carved roasts, even seafood nights. I love eating at Golden Corral, or a carryout plate that will make a couple meals for one at a good price. The waitresses are quick and considerate, and you seldom find your glass empty, unless you ask them to stop pouring! I love this place.

Worst service I have ever had. As soon as we walked in the door the woman says " we close at 9:30" it was 8:01 she was rude while taking our drink orders. The guy who cooks the steak was extremely rude as well. Gave me a steak that was rare when i orderes medium well. When i asked for another one he over cooked it. It was burnt. Our friends was almost completely raw when he ordered medium. I asked for the manager and she was very nice. Even checked on us later on. But the employees there are very rude!

This place is horrible not friendly at all. My server (Esther) was rude and suck. First i was told no no no she was not waiting on us. Sent us back to the register. She had to wait on us after all. Next she went back and forth with me about drink order thinking some one was tryin to get over on her obviously she couldnt count (lol kids drinks are free by the way). When I corrected her no apology just ooooh. Smh. Do not eat here! If i could give no stars i would.

Coming from Florida, golden corral was the best place to go. This is the worst golden corral Ive ever been, by far. The food was cold, the variety of the food was much less. The food labels were wrong for almost every item. The quality of the food was plain bad. Variety of dessert was very low. The ice cream from the machine looked disgusting. After, I had to throw up because my stomach felt terrible. Waste of money.

If you like flavorless food, large groups of people, and over priced sneezed on eggs this is the place for you! While some may like the prices here others might complain when taking into account the lack of flavor, proper cooking times, and overall freshness has a very hard time convincing me that spending $14.00 for a buffet is worth even that. Spending $14.00 at a dine-in restaurant might be a better alternative.
