The Good: The restaurant is clean, hosts are friendly, quiet, and the music is actually in Chinese! Not many Waukegan Chinese restaurants have that unless one goes to Chicago. The Bad: The food was too greasy, theres not an option of having steamed veggies, a lot of the food was overcooked or dry. The flavors are there but again its too greasy. They need to cut down on the oils or butter. :( I would have to say Jumbo Buffet is better if ones in Waukegan. In Chicago theres more of an option because its a bigger city.

This place just isnt competitive with other chinese buffets in the area. Their prices are slightly higher than Economical Buffet, Jumbo Buffet and Hunan Hibachi Buffet but the food quality is lower. The one thing going for it is that soft drinks are included in the price. Its your run of the mill stir-fry dishes with little seafood to offer. The other buffets cited above all offer a better seafood selection at dinner time - larger shrimp, fresh sushi, mussels, etc.

Eat here several times a week enjoy each time. Menu includes Seafood (shrimp steamed and fried)chicken (stir fried, baked,deep fried) beef with peppers and onions egg rolls,spring rolls noodles(stir fried also deep fried) steamed vegetables, salad bar,desert bar, hot soups, soft drinks and ice cream included for only $7.99 week day lunch buffet. Dinner buffet and weekends $10.99. Very friendly staff with chefs trained in China provide a great place to eat.

My experience at this buffet is really bad, first off when you walk in its dead than you gotta pay up front first what if I didnt want to pay for soft drinks just tea but noo thats inclue with it... second the food was little to pick by and all of them was either really dry or flavorless.... when I ate the veery frist plate my soul scream I just want to leeeave.. yes it really that bad. Please save youre time driving and money just trust the one star.

The hostess offered us a discount to stay. That should have been a clue. Most of the food was cold, greasy, and over/under cooked. No one ever came to take plates off the table or anything, the broccoli however was fantastic. The ice cream center has hair in it and crusty stuff on the edges. I will not be back.

Good hot fresh food! Came at a slow time but fresh food was still being out out, smaller potions put out during slow tones so it all stays fresh and they dont need msg! Good prices and not just sushi like some places tho if thats what your after they have that also.
