Most times it seems like even at any major chain restaurant these days, the food looks and tastes like microwaved leftovers and the staff generally are not able to keep their distaste for their circumstances all be it work related or not masked with pleasure of service. however this evening, the food tasted and genuinely looked as that of what is advertised. The food looked like it could have been photographed for marketing purposes. The cheese on the multitude of items ordered was a perfect temperature, just slightly browned with amazing flavor. Even though the food could stand on its own as a reason to try this olive garden regardless of any previous visits, the staff here were the highlight of the experience. The Waitress was not only attentive, but smiled and knew her menu. Tabatha was able to make great recommendations for things that in the 20 years of having frequented different olive gardens across the nation, I have never tried due to a lack of want for change on my part, and I TRUELY found new favorites. The dessert my wife desired is a limited item, so I asked the manager if he could hold one for her just in case the had an influx of traffic and I wanted to prevent the possibility of selling out of that item before she could have it. The manager apologized for the lack of occupaning ice cream that usually comes with it and covered the cost of our dessert as compensation. Most places just say this is what we have with a lack of empathy or understanding of disappointment that may be had and further more leave no room in their service to offer substitutions or compensations for their businesses shortcomings. They may have essentially paid a little for our business, however their business practice has paid off dividends just through us in this experience as this is the ONLY olive garden my wife and I will frequent for our remaining time here in Birmingham. Between the management and the general staff here, we were able to enjoy our meal AND experience due to great food, as well as a HELPFUL, PROFRSSIONAL, KIND STAFF. Bravo and kuddos to the training staff of this franchise location. The cost of the staff here is worth their weight in gold.

Horrible- wont be back! Called in food at 11:40 ish was told ready at 12:30 wasnt ready till 1:05 food was prepaired wrong it had vetables instead of fetteccine alfreado as ordered and the server told me it would take a long time to fix it correctly, so I couldt wait. After getting to car I relize the boat of fettuccine sauce I was cahrged $2.49 wasnt in the bag, I went back in (without the order) and told him and he said yes it was go get the bag. (like I had all the time in the world) So i left with what was a little individule side of marinara sauce. Only to get down the road to relize that the soup for my co worker was not in the bag. -- After getting back to work and deciding to enjoy the $48 lunch for 2 the best I could.... I FOUND A SMALL BLACK HAIR ON THE BREAD!!! So the $48 lunch went in the garbage. I would think when he knew my meal was prepaired with the wrong side and couldt fix it in a timley manor forcing me to take what they gave me. And I went back in asking for sauce I was charged for and wasnt given... even if he thought I was wrong (which I wasnt I know the difference between fettuccine and marinara- I also know the difference in a boat of sauce and a little 1oz container) one would think he would have gotton it anyway....... NEVER BE BACK

I called at 9:30 to place an order while I was leaving work. I was told that no orders are taken AFTER 9:30. I order from here multiple times a month. They required that I wait until I arrived at 9:45 to place the order. My problem was that with my order, I ordered an additional salad to go. At first, the order did not include bread, I went back into the restaurant and asked for bread. When I arrived at home, five minutes later, the bread was way too hard to eat so I threw it away. BOTH salads had obviously been made for several days and contained some slimy lettuce and lettuce that was turning brown. I have ordered here many times and have gotten the wrong order twice...called back and was told they were "looking" for the meal that they sent home with me. I promise you that I am not one to complain when the product is fresh and served the way it should be but I am extremely disappointed in the product that was served on Friday, June 28th. The food leaving the kitchen at 9:50 should be just as fresh as the food leaving at 6:00 pm. I encourage you to contact me since I am a regular customer but even more so because of the quality of food being served.

Visited with my family, between 8-830pm, party of 9... Waited approximately 45min to be seated, waited about 5 minutes without any greeting from a server. Set timer on cell phone, waited another 10 min, which within that time several servers, walked by avoiding us like the plague. It was so pathetic. We were seated where we could see into the little area where the employees gathered to place and pick up orders, several of them were watching us like we were a movie... As were leaving, the hostess who just sat us says "have a good night", now that was the icing on the cake. This is my second time visiting this Olive Garden, and all I can say is Ive never eaten at Olive Garden...Selah. The only reason i gave a one star rating is in order to post my comments I had to pick a star.

We usually go to olive garden at least once a month. The last 2 times the food has been dried out and old. But no one cares. We had chicken Alfredo the noodles were dried out and tasted terrible. I asked to speak to the manager. The waiter said he was busy and would not be out to speak with me. I paid $57.00 and a 10.00 tip I expected my food to be fresh.I miss the old olive garden where the people took pride in their food and service. Now days your treated like its a burden on them for you to be there. People forget that they are known by their actions . I was so disappointed in the management. They represent the Olive Garden.....

I will NEVER eat here again! I got horrible service because the waitress took one look at me and assumed because Im young I have no money and so she decided that customer service was no longer important. Also when we had problems with my card (not my fault the machine was messed up and charged me three times) I was told to handle it and call back and let them know what I did...are you serious!? To wouldnt eat here if I was you and defiantly dont use your card for payment Im screwed out of money right now because of them... I wont be back. Manager and wait staff suck

I would like to start and say that I love The Olive Garden. Although if this was my first experience I WOULD NEVER RETURN! We had a party of 21 on Sunday which I know there is going to be a wait. We were there for THREE HOURS. They held our food so long that it had turned brown. Yes BROWN! They were wanting to serve everyone at the same time. SORRY, just bring out the food and let us go home, PLEASE! The atmosphere in the air was very thick be cause the service was rotten. If you are the owners or managers and you want to address this I encourage it.
