5/2/13 Alabaster Alabama location. PARTY OF ONE NOT WELCOME!!! Entered my favorite "traveling" restaurant of 4+ years to be told a "party of one" was not allowed to sit at the bar in my usual spot. The same spot I have sat in 40+ times over the last few years. Was given a dis respectful b***hy attitude by the teen age girl and her friend that butted in the conversation. Both telling me that part of the bar was reserved for parties of ten or more. (As if 5:45 pm on Thursday was going to bring a party of 10 in the door to a half full restaurant.) I was told "you must sit at a booth or a table, your not allowed to sit at the bar, If you want to talk to our manager about it you can". I kept my composure and my gentlemanly attitude and left the restaurant, hungry and thirsty. I didnt want to argue for my dinner, get my food spit in, or do business with (or tip) someone with such an uncooperative, un appreciative attitudes. I waited a couple days and called to speak with the manager. Once again a HORRIBLE customer service experience. A girl answered the phone, I asked for THE manager and was told you can speak with A manager. Girl: "who is calling and why"? Me: "Id rather speak with the manager about that." Girl: "well then tell me your name". Me: "Im Joe customer, asking to speak with the manager please" Girl: "what everrrr" (in a bi***hy teen accent). Manager answers, I question the phone screening process I was put through before being allowed to speak with a manager. Manager basically backs up the horrible way I was treated with not much of an apology, but offers that the "party of ten" is not a written rule, just one practiced by the owner of the particular establishment. After a few minutes of talking with her I expected her to apologize, ask me to come in for a beer on the house and sit where ever I wanted.. but that did not happen. We ended the conversation on as bad a note as it started. The BWW in Montgomery Al closed last year, obviously a financial issue, what other reason would a profitable chain restaurant close? HORRIBLE ATTITUDES AND / OR HORRIBLE FOOD?

I have been to a lot of Buffalo Wild Wing restaurants in AL and I have to tell you that my experience at this one was below expectation. I understand it is a sports bar, however, if you offer a "non-smoking" option, the whole point is that I can enjoy a meal without walking away smelling like I rolled around in an ashtray. My husband and I waited 45 minutes after being told the wait was 10 minutes for a non-smoking table. They finally sat us next to a table with about 8 people ALL of which were SMOKING!! We got up and left immediately. As soon as we walked out the door I realized I smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. And that was just from waiting in the lobby! If you are a smoker, this probably doesnt bother you. If you are not a smoker, do NOT go here in the evenings. It is like a nasty college bar. Way below standards for other Buffalo Wild Wing restaurants.

My wife and I had been eating at this location once or twice a week for the past three years. I enjoyed BWW so much, that I joined their Buffalo Circle club through their website. The benefit of the club was that I was notified via email of promotions, events, and received the occasional coupon. I received a coupon for six free wings through email from BWW. When I attempted to collect on it, the manager on duty said it fraudulent and they wouldnt honor it. I am sure they get a lot people printing multiple copies, etc. But the managers explanation was ridiculous. They can keep their six wings. If you love wings. Give Wing King a try. Their food is actually way better and they seem actually care about the customer. So long BWW.

Food is delivered quick and efficiently. Refills are quick, especially when its beer. The food aways comes out hot, tossed in your choice of their excellent wing sauce varieties. The bar stocks many options imported, domestic and craft beer options. It also has choices for the liquor afficianado, but dont expect any weathered and aged whiskeys. The only shortcoming this branch suffers from is its slump in customer service. It never seems to be constant, though, and the later at night your visit, the better your service tends to be. Mostly staffed with younger servers, that is where the problem seems to lie. Still, bad service is so inconsistent, that good service is more common.

BWW has great food but this one in Alabaster needs to train their staff on politeness. We brought in a Happy Meal for our 4 year old because we knew she wouldnt eat anything else. We have done this at multiple different restaurants. As we walked out we told the hostess they just lost some business, instead of saying we are sorry they said we dont care. I get that there are policies but rudeness I dont get.

Walked in and was impressed with the layout and setup (looks like brand new everything) service was great. Food was excellent... Now lets get down to the 2 stars, the design of that bathroom must have been read upside and backwards on blue prints created by a toddler. And I know people are messy but someone should keep it clean. Lets just say george costanza would never make a trip here for the bathrooms.

Decided to give it a try after a long sabbatical away from BWW. The service is great, the beer selection is good, but the food had me scrambling for the toilet within an hour. It was fast acting. Spent the night and a good part of the morning on the toilet. Heck, Im writing this from the toilet. It is the last time I will go there for food. Stick with the beer and you should be ok.

My wife and I go to "our" BWW about 48 Tuesdays out of 52 a year as our Date Night. We started this a couple of weeks after the Alabaster BWW opened around 10 years ago. We feel at home due the friendly nature of the management and wait staff who stop to speak every visit. Most of them know our regular order and repeat it to us before we can order. Great place!

Good service, but mediocre food. Our group of 6 all left behind substantially all their order, salads, wings and a couple of burgers. Beef tasted funny and wings were not fresh, probably microwaved and dunked in hot sauce. Far too loud for any conversation short of shouting. My first trip ever to BWW, so one and done for me.
