We ordered both wedding cake and grooms cakes from Strawberry Bakery. When we arrived at the reception, the bottom tier of the wedding cake had a big crack in the "decoration," and it looked as though the decoration had been only started...by a beginner. Besides the terrible aesthetics (nothing like what was discussed!), the cake tasted just as bad--pound cake was dry, chocolate filling had very little flavor, and raspberries in the filling were mushy and tasteless. We went back to the bakery after the fact, and the owner told us, essentially, "Oh, well." If we could review with 0 stars, we would.

Have have gotten many delicious and beautiful cakes from the bakery, however the last cake was very disappointing to me. Although it was beautiful and tasted fine, it totally missed the mark on the decorations. It was supposed to be for a 3 yr.old girls luau birthday party. It had beautiful pastel flowers but nothing that was bright, fun or meant for child. I even left several pictures with my order but none of the elements were used. It was going to be the highlight of the party but no one but me (because I paid a lot for it) will ever remember this cake! :(

I ordered a carrot cake for moms bday and it was outstanding. The cake and icing were very fresh and tasty. I have lived up the street from this establishment for a while and this was the first time I went in the store. It is a very impressive set up with a lot of choices. I will be going back.

I came across this place accidentally. It was the best discovery ever! The cakes and pastries are outstanding. The breakfast breads and danishes are delicious. Their almond pear tart is like none other...I highly recommend it for those of you who havent tried it yet.

Just traveling through Philadelphia, and needed breakfast before our plane. Great place. The pastries are beautifully browned, buttery rich, and still airy. Chocolate-coconut, blueberry and raisin custard were all great fillings that we tried.

Their croissants are outstanding, I highly recommend the almond one. My son is a fan of their chocolate mousse and the thin cookies. Of the breads I like best the whole grain.
