Ok, so let me start first by saying it was delicious. The fries could definitely have been crispier, but overall, it was great tasting food, especially for a little hole-in-the-wall like Chicken Little. Heres the but. BUT. It had a HORRENDOUS aftertaste. I have worked with fried food for decades, and this tasted like this kitchen hadnt changed their oil. Ever. I can taste things that definitely arent chicken and potato, and its really off-putting. Furthermore, one night spent in the fridge releases a pungent stink of over-used cooking oil. I ended up throwing the other half of my meal away. I probably wont be going back. But honestly, the chicken was amazing. Superbly crispy and a nice texture on the inside. Its a shame that they are too cheap to switch out their oils, because thats the only thing holding this restaurant back from being one of my regular stops. On top of the aftertaste, old oil WILL give you digestive problems. As I proved the morning after; enough said on that front. I wont say dont go here, because the staff is friendly and the food is tasty, but I would ask when they had changed their oil last. If its anything over a few weeks, come back later. Or better yet, make a comment about it and then leave. Theres nothing that will get them to change their ways quicker than upset customers. Food: B Staff: B Quality: C- (this is only because of the oil. All other ingredients were at least B grade)

My friend was a regular customer there. My friend was the only customer eating, and this short waitress positioned herself in front of my friend, bend over so her behind was facing just inches away from his face, so she could do some work under the counter. She was wearing tight black pants. My friend said to her "well you know what Im looking at." She turned around and she said "get out of here!" He responded by saying "I will, but I will never come back here again!" So he got up and left! He couldnt believe what just happened. The way I see it, I think she just doesnt like him, and this is her way of showing him out the door. But to bend over and showing her behind, that is just plain RUDE! That is NOT how you treat your regular customers. This friend of mine is a business owner not too far from where the tavern is located, so eating there for lunch is a convenient. That was the last time he ate there, and he did talked to the manager about it.

Big drinks, cool servers, bomb food. Purrty good fried chicken and real jo-jos. Big portions, great prices. Big place too. Check it, expect a long wait if you order 2 chickens and a bunch of sides at a dinner rush, but duh, dummy. I havent, but I have laughed at the dummies who do and get all annoyed. I do it quietly, all OG passive aggressive style, son! Anyway, the place is great. Go.

Dude. The chicken here is the best! The workers are even better. They definitely have more than just chicken which makes it a nice little dive bar to go have a bite. Theyve got a couple pinball machines and some gaming machines which make it a fun little place to hang out as well. I would definitely suggest this as a place to go.

My Double Deuce brothers love this place. I like the neighborhood. They treat most people well as far as I can see. The sign says "The best chicken and waffles West of the Mississippi" another says, "Free beer all day tomorrow. " Pool, darts, vídeo games, video poker, outside picnic tables, homestyle food complete with sides.

Looking for a hidden gem in Portland… LOOK AWAY.. if your looking for people who have life long alcohol and drug abuse problems look no further. You have found a dark dank place complete with RATS! This place is gross and the owner is a JERK his staff is not much better.. but on the upside you can buy drugs right outside..

Not for ambiance. Tastiest fried chicken in pdx so far. Better than every hipster overpriced fried chicken weve hunted down in town. Great seasoning, moist meat, ultra crispy skin, not greasy. Just moved here from NYC, used to live in Atlanta and North Carolina. I fuxwit Chicken Little.

Best fried chicken in portland. Im From The south. And this is right between "crazy chicken shack on a dead end road" good, and "10 gallon pot of 400 degree oil 15 feet from the chicken coop" good. Which is to say 10/10 will binge again .

Its definately a local hangout. Trust me the not so good reviews were not from locals. Holiday spreads are put on for the regulars. Food is good as are the cooks. Local gossip starts here. Clean place and managed well.

Salad was good here but the IPA was a bit too hoppy. Seems like an okay place but lacks the dive bar feeling I had hoped for. They do have a pretty impressive hourglass that actually has a full hour of sand here.
