I never leave reviews but wow, I had to... I was so appalled at how we were treated! We got there after looking at their online menu. The 1 thing I liked, a simple BLT, got there and they stopped making it? I asked if they could make on and she went and asked the owner. He said no... even tho they had bread, bacon, tomatoes and lettuce (assuming they had mayo? Lol) and was rudely told no. We were treated as if they could care less about you. I just moved here too and I was happy about a local brewery. I will never go back. Learned that my family who has lived in Estacada for 40 years refuse to go there. They were treated awful. Just look elsewhere. Menu is awful, beer is average but rudeness unprovoked? Absolutely not. Shocked theyre in business I thought these reviews were personal jabs against the owner but no, its sad but true. Shameful! You would think theyd make a positive change, but looking at the reviews this bad, for years? Theres no excuse to continue treating customers like that and improve the food and my goodness... if youre going to have an online menu, keep it current? The worst place Ive been to in several years. Save yourself the shock feeling and being disrespected. Im still shaking my head. I wont even support the beer. Without the beer? They would have had to shut the doors years ago. Thank you Google reviews. Im glad they have this. I even flagged to Google because one comment was directed to the owner by name like an enemy/revenge type thing. Ok, I really now see the truth. That comment was removed and Im leaving a review that is real, but sad. Lame

I have tried this restaurant twice. Both times with the same result. The service was absolutely HORRIBLE, the waitress and rest of staff made us feel like we were invading their home. The food prices seemed reasonable, but once the food came it was McDonalds size. They do have good beer, but how hard is it to mess up beer in the Northwest? I asked for a glass of water and she rudely told me it was self service!!! So sorry to bother you with your two tables in the entire restaurant. Finally, when I signed my credit card slip she said "since I cant determine if this is really you, I need to see your I.D.!" Ive lived here for 12 years and I am a clean cut, happily married man. It was the rudest, poorest service I have ever had, -anywhere. AVOID GOING HERE and buy some good beer at the store

My wife and I stopped in for drinks and a bowl of soup after a soak at Bagby. The Hungarian Mushroom soup was excellent and the waitress (maybe the owner?) unexpectedly shared the recipe with us! Weve made it twice in the two weeks since visiting. Youll see a lot of posters about the Loki Red Ale; dont miss it. We took a couple of four packs home with us. More than anything, I was very impressed by the prices. As mentioned by another reviewer, our taster flight ended up being cheaper per oz than a pint (something I dont often see elsewhere). I think their prices have to be some of the lowest brewery prices Ive seen in the PNW.

I started going here when I moved to the area, and generally really love it! When the younger employees are working behind the bar (Chelsea & Adam!) its welcoming, friendly, and full of conversation. Lately, however, two older ladies have been staffing the place, and they have few smiles, little conversation beyond "I need to see your ID" and "How are you doing?" Theres local drama, and it tends to be the target spot for tourists traveling through in good weather, but the beer is great, the food is good, and with the right staffing its a great place to be! (Closed on Tuesdays!)

We waited 35 minute before the waitress came to take our order, 55 minutes later after asking twice it showed up cold! Needless to say we paid for the beer and left! The guy behind the counter was a jerk and when I told him, I wouldnt pay for the cold hamburgers, he got mad said he would call the cops if I refused to pay. The swill they call beer tasted worst than warm flat PBR. I was told they have better beers since we have been in there, but the attitude, terrible service and crummy food will keep us from ever going in there again. Avoid this place like the plague!

Not sure why all the negative reviews. My guess is they are fake or yuppie folk from portland thatre probably pretty darned lost if theyre out in Estacada. I take friends from out of town here, their beer is good and the food is pretty tasty in my opinion. The peach ale thing is a favorite. Youd think from the reviews theyll punch ya when ya walk in, but in the last few years of going every couple months I find that rather hard to believe. I like the joint and recommend it to friends. Go later in the day an hour or two before they close and the place is all yours.

This place SUCKS!!!!....My girlfriend and I went in there to get a keg for a party and were treated very VERY poorly!...you would think if you are about to hand someone money for a keg, you would get a little respect-not here!...The woman who was taking our order was very unfriendly...unfriendly does not even cut it-more like RUDE!!!!....I do not understand, it seems we were pre-judged as we walked through the door...for being a small business in a small community they sure do not know about public relations!

Stopped in to have a taster, which I discovered to be incredibly generous, as you get about 6 ounces or so, compared to 2 or 3 at most breweries. That might lead you to think the beer isnt good, but Id say it is better than average for Oregon - which is saying a lot! Prices are reasonable for growlers, too. As for food, well, I cant say much except that the sweat potato fries I ordered were tasty, and the service was both fast and friendly.

They have great beer. If that is what you want, go there. It is not really required that you be best friends with the owners of any place to go there and enjoy what is good about the establishment. The place is quirky, clean, has good beer, good beer specials, and some undercurrents of local drama (ignore these and drink the good beer).

Just a joke all around. Two clinically insane people trying to run a restaurant has not turned out well. Dont waste your time. There are many "disgruntled" employees for a reason. Horrible treatment, bad food, constant problems and mistakes, selfish owners. Dont waste your time and please dont give these people your hard earned money.

I give this place 5 stars for these reasons: solid, tasty food. Beers were great, and they have lots of options for tasting. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. They had vegetarian food options. The service was great! Lastly, but most importantly, it is an oasis for anyone coming back from camping or hiking near Estacada.

The beer is decent but not groundbreaking. I do like their red ale and Scottish ale. The food however needs some serious improvement. I had the wraps and a sandwich or two Id say avoid it at all cost. I may try it again someday but have avoided it for the past couple of years because of 4 or 5 bad food experiences.
