Came in on Sunday at 11:50. Waitress came over asked us if we wanted drinks. I order water and my Gf ordered ice tea. 7 to 10 min later the ice tea was brought out. No water was delivered no explanation on why I never got water. the music was crappy pop country that was to loud and kept cutting out. We asked for the music to be turned down, the waitress said sure. 15 min passed still no water and still loud crap music. Had to ask for water again. Why was my water not brought out with the ice tea? 10 more minutes passed and finally I received water. Asked a woman who I presumed to be the manager to please turn down the music. She looked at me and asked " turn down the music?" I said yes and explained why, she said OK. It was never turned down. Food came out almost 45 minutes after we ordered it. It was so salty it was gross. The gravy on my chicken fried steak was orange, it was also on my gfs order. It was gross. Orange gravy? Mashed up tater tots are not hash browns. Under cooked bacon is gross and you can get sick. We left. Your food sucks, your staff sucks the music is crap. I wont be going back ever

We went on cinco de mayo. There was 2 entrances so it was a little confusing on how to get seated or a name on the wait list. Somehow we got fast tracked and seated very promptly. Service seemed to be a little confused and drinks were slow. I contribute it to cinco de mayo. Very busy. The food was excellent! We did have to ask for some essential things however, a meal was comp t without us asking. We were satisfied and even though service suffered a little the staff was very friendly. We do plan on going back again on a day that isnt a cultural holiday and prime dinner time on a Friday! We would recommend the place to friends!

In general I like this place, the food is mostly quite good. The drinks are excellent, the service is attentive and efficient. Changes in would make if I were allowed to, the rice they serve is straight up Uncle Bens crappy ass rice, and the refried beans are the same dreadful ones out of a can that every other low budget Mexican restaurant serves. Its clear by how nice looking the place is and the creative flair in the menu that they aspire to be more than just an average run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Do us all a favor ditch the Uncle Bens, and make some beans from scratch and I will sing your praises.

Ive been to Mesa Fresca several times, and the service is still hit or miss. The bartenders dont cater to the bar, so if you want to just drink cocktails, expect slow service. The bartender asked what we wanted to drink, then went to clear dishes off a table... when the table she cleared was obviously not in a rush. She took her time loading the dirty dishes into the bin before starting to make our drinks. Meanwhile... we were in the bar (only people seated at the bar) for 10 minutes before we had a drink to sip on. Sigh... food is excellent, but service is not focused.

I ordered food to be delivered through ubereats app, it was running 25mins later than it originally told me to expect. I called the restaurant to try and see what the status was, I said "Hi Im calling to see about the status of an order I made through ubereats" at which point she asks me if its okay to "put me on hold for a moment". I waited for 5 mins, she never came back. I even called back several times up to several hours later and the phone was STILL off the hook. On top of that the food was ice cold when I received it.

It does not seem like they care about their customers. When the food is good, it can be very good, but when it is wrong or they forget something, they make little to no effort to fix it. I had to ask 4 times between 3 different people just to get the rest of the items that came with my meal. Took 20-25 minutes. NO apology. Everyone at my table was done eating before I got the syrup for my waffles. Very disappointed. An apology would have gone a long way, but, it seems like they just dont care.

We went here at 5 o clock Friday evening and were immediately seated. We had fish tacos and a steak tostada, both which were very good. We will definitely be coming back. I did subtract a star for the $8 side of guacamole. Its really good but it comes in a little container the salsa usually comes in. My fish tacos were only $12. Overall the food and resteraunt were great.

Delicious breakfast and full bar! Great to see Downton OC continuing to expand its restaurant scene. We stopped in after the Oregon Trail 5k to try out this new place and were not disappointed - amazing huevos rancheros and mimosas. The menu is kid friend too, and includes fruit topped waffles. It was pretty empty. We will have to come back for dinner sometime.

Vehicle was Towed from parking lot directly behind Restaurant with no warning from the staff of Predatory Towing. Brother-in-law paid $300 to get vehicle released from impoundment in Canby. Although the food was fine and the service was good, the staff should have been looking out for us!

First of all nice place but bad service and bland food. They had more servers(6) than cooks(2) wasnt even busy and even then took them a bit to get us our drinks. We only order soda and lemonade, food was taste less their salsa had more flavor. Money not worth it, not going back.

We walk in, They say seat yourself, they dont bring water, or napkin and silverware, they finally come ask about drinks, dont offer water, dont refill coffee, we had to get our own water, & get our own coffee refill, 3 times, super slow service!

Fathers Day breakfast with the boy, excellent. We are going back with the little lady next time. Id recommend to anyone who likes Mexican. One of the best in OC along with Mitzl, which is by the way, one of the best in the portland area.

Just sat down, first time here, salsa is bland, so we ask if they have one that is mild? They bring us hell fire! Haha waiting on food now! We will see if they gave us a dragon in our food! Bwahaha

No you can not have hot sauce here. Per the waiter they dont have any. What you can have is watery, flavorless salsa. Oh and the plethora of spiderwebs and dead flies another bonus
