I write this as a lover of good food, fine decor and great puns - THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT ON 99E!!!! The first thing I noticed was the decor. Wow! It is beautifully themed. Each piece of art on the wall tells a story of the owners, their lives and the era they lived in. That alone is worth the price of admission (free, including the on site MUSEUM!!!) Once I sat down I once again had to pick my jaw up off the floor. The menu was simply a pleasure to read. It had everything you could need and I LOVED the homage to the restaurants theme. The menu was foreshadowing because dear gosh, the food was great! No one I came in with left disappointed. Oh and the waitstaff was friendly, professional and prompt. I couldnt see the bottom of my glass IF I TRIED!!! The restaurants owner, Punky, was a DELIGHT as well! She was truly the cherry on top and ensured not only were we leaving with a smile on our face but a story to tell as well! Oh and one person (who shall not be named but you know who you are!) left their card and Punky personally delivered it to them! Honestly, I wish there were more stars I could give this restaurant. If youre still reading this put down your phone, close your laptop, drop whatever youre doing and RUN DO NOT WALK to this shining cafe on a hill! WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS GO THERE NOW!

We went on a dreary November weekend day. We are aviation buffs and have visited all the museums within 100 miles, except for this spot, and i knew my 5 yo son would love it, and wed have a special family breakfast. So we trekked on down from the Washington side of the Columbia River to find it. When we found it, the parking lot was full (always a sign of a good restaurant). I wasnt so sure about the looks of the place (we are really picky about where we eat), but my worries were dispelled when we went inside. WARM was the feeling, literally and figuratively. The wait staff were sweet and patient with our kids, and our indecision about all the offerings on the menu. The decor was great. Everything we had was good, and we went to the museum afterward, where the folks working (or volunteering) there were so friendly and we learned so much from talking to them, more than we would have from reading the exhibits. Supporting their effort to restore the Bomber is supporting local community and history. We had a great time there, and would like to visit again when the Victory Garden is in bloom!

Ordered chili cheese fries. Took forever. When i finally received my order there was hardly any cheese on it. I requested to add more, I would have paid extra if necessary, but after another 1/2 hour of waiting I left a tip anyway and decided to leave. The fries would be awful at this point. When I went to pay my tab for drinks, they apologised profusely and comped my tab. That was nice. Problem was they were not busy at all and I couldnt understand why customers that came in after sat down ordered, ate and left while I was there. I only ordered chili cheese fries for Petes sake. How hard could that be? Really? Would I go back? Maybe. Everyone deserves another chance. They must just be having a bad day.

One of the wrost places i have ever ate at. The pies are from costco which they told me themself. I orderd a sandwiche that came not toasted on some regular bread,,,i could make one better at my home (really). My grandparents that are 80 love the place but its really bad quality of food.. I heard that they have good breakfest but i will never know because i wont go back..The wait staff was friendly. My daughter got fresh fruit with her meal which was a fruit cup fom safeway....Nice....

The food was great, just what we wanted. Only problen was online they are listed as pet friendly (I assumed that meant they offered outdoor seating or galley style indoor) upon arriving I found that they were not and I had to order my food to-go and eat in the car. I was traveling and wanted the experience of the place, wanted to visit the musuem they had too but no pets allowed..

Tried it not impressed. Pancakes were rubbery and cold. Its not difficult to make pancakes. Staff is nice but it took over an hour to get pancakes for my two children, and there was only five tables on sunday morning at 10am. acoustics in restaurant sucks. A lady started laughing and another lady actually started yelling at her to be quiet. Kinda funny... but.. super annoying.

If you appreciate the loyalty of our veterans, youll like this historic place with warm memories captured of their journey during a particular time era of the Bomber. These founders ( a veteran & his wife) have included nostalgic photos & newspaper clippings throughout. True & authentic atmosphere with delicious food & welcoming friendly staff. Good prices too.

An old landmark in the Metro area, the bomber is no longer in the parking lot. Breakfast was quite good and prices were reasonable. Service was good. Coffee was good. Interesting place, with bomber memorabilia all over. Clearly a local hangout for local retired men - quite a bit of lively conversation abounds.

Love this place. Eat breakfast here at least once a weekend. The staff is great and very friendly. Cherri, our regular waitress is one of the nicest ladies i have ever met. I will continue to go here as long as we are in the area and if we move we will drive here from wherever we go, i like it that much.

Wait staff are very friendly and attentive, even when busy. The bacon in the BLT was top notch, the beef & barley soup was flavourful and needed no more seasoning. The Bomber Burger is absolutely to die for and even 5 years apart it was my favourite burger of all time and still is. Great experience.

Well, it is true that this is a diner style restauraunt. And yes the food is really bad. The senior citizens really enjoy coming here. The place is a gathering for these folks. I love my senior citizens, but I dont know how they could afford to eat here every night at those prices.

Love the airplane. Food is adequate. Kids just go nuts every time we drive by. Plus the story is great telling each time. And we have had great waitresses who cater to our kids needs and keep them civil in this public place. Thanks Boombers

Breakfast with the guys twice a week here. Wouldnt change for anything. Good eats surrounded by history. Cheri, MaryAnn, and Reina take good care of us. Watch Strange Inheritances on Fox Business to see the story of Art Lacy and the Bomber.

Typical diner with menu suited to moderate budget. Historical location missing its famous attraction but filled with photos of a bygon era. Needs a face lift to freshen up over all. Food ok. Staff attentive during busy dinner rush.
