To preface this, I NEVER write online reviews about places. If I have a problem with an establishment I will ask for the manager and politely point out the issues I have. My order was carryout and have a number of other Mexican places to frequent within 5 minutes of my home. The place will be gone within a year based on what I saw. The staff was very friendly, but the food was really gross. For starters, my side of sour cream was the consistency of water when I opened it (that went straight in the garbage). When I bit into my tortilla it wasnt slightly firm or even soft, but doughy like a day-old egg roll. Maybe I was biased as looking behind the counter at their mini oven...a bunch of blackish cooked-on grease. I used to be a bartender and used a similar one for pizzas. Ive also worked as a manager for 15 years. That wasnt a day or two of neglect. My oven never looked like that on my busiest of nights. Ate 5 bites of my meal and threw it out because of been totally turned off and worried for my bathroom if I continued further. Disappointing because they had very nice and helpful staff working there. Not their fault since they seem to be customer-oriented. I fault management.

closed early for no reason! completely unreliable. The door says closes at 10PM on saturday! I came with my family - five mouths to feed! and wanted to get some food to take home. I went out of my way because I used to like this place a lot! I came at 9PM on saturday 1/7/17 but the open sign was off. I checked the door and it was open, and when I went inside the woman working told me they were closing early and they had thrown out the rice so they couldnt make me anything. Never coming back! Why have hours if you close randomly! If youre going to have hours, stick to them. otherwise you can just close forever.

4 of us went for lunch today. There was one guy getting food made in front of us and one couple sitting down eating. We stood there for 15 minutes without being acknowledged in any way. When we finally turned to leave they said "Have a nice day" in the most sarcastic way possible. Ponchos is 5 minutes away towards Green, hotheads is 2 minutes past ponchos, Chipotle is 8 minutes further in towards Canton, and taco bell is about 150 yards away. Id recommend you go to any of these places before jojutlas.

Ive been a regular since they opened. If youre looking for a unique spot with flavorful Mexican cuisine Jojutlas is a good bet. They have 3 different levels if salsa heat. The staff if experienced and keep things very clean. You may wait a few minutes for some of the food to be prepared but its worth it. You should ask to try their Cilantro Lime Dressing :)

Was completely ignored, there was only two people in there never once said he would be right with me while he was doing something else which should have been done not during business hours, instead he just ignored me and talked to the two people in there , ridiculous. I wont go in there ever again. Horrible business owner.

Absolutely best experience youll have, take out or dining in. The food is superb and the service is always personable and timely. They buy their veggies local and support or community. I have never had any complaints. If youre not sure what to get, I recommend the chimichangas.

Best dining experience in probably 5+ years. The waitress/hostess (Taylor) was so awesome I had to ask her name before I left so I could left specific feedback. Food was also great. I think we averaged $8 per meal with drinks and splitting a basket of chips/salsa.

Excellent, fresh food. Lots of vegetarian options and flavor combinations. It is easy to get a healthy, filling meal here. The service is fast and friendly. Samantha and Steven are my favorite employees, they really care about providing exceptional customer service.

Good food on previous visits. A little pricier than competitors for Mexican style food. Today, during lunch hour, it was closed. No sign on door to indicate reason for being closed. Either an emergency or went out of business.

This was my first time visiting this place and their food is absolutely amazing. It has a Chipotle type of vibe but 10 times better. Bowls are bigger and filled with more options And the same prices as other places but better

They have healthy options. Plus you can order gluten free/vegan bowls. Not as tasty or as affordable as Chipotle and definitely not as sustainable or ethical, but its nice to finally have healthier options in town!

I wasnt really into the layout of the restaurant or the food. I sampled their soup, it was really good. But the mexican salad that I got was pretty bland. The chips seemed stale, kind of chewy. I wont eat here again.

Food is very similar to that of chipotle. Person serving the good is very friendly. Gave us special invitation (read coupon) to come again. Food is a little colder than chipotle though.

Addicted! Great food prepared fresh. Wife is addicted to the quesadillas. Fish taco with mango salsa is the best fish tacos Ive ever had! Owner and staff are all great and friendly.

Great, fresh food at a fair price. The staff is friendly, helpful and my two young boys LOVE their chips. They also encourage you to BYOB and sit outside. Try the fish tacos!
