You remember how when you were in high school, drama was everywhere? People were always saying nasty things about other people just for fun, and if the wrong person showed up at a party, it was immediately the end of the world and drastic action had to be taken and the whole room became a warzone? Also, remember how the East Bank of the Flats used to be this place where you didnt go because it was full of stupid people getting drunk and doing stupid things? Roc Bar is trying really hard to keep both those traditions alive. And its doing it in classic dirty matte black style.

I have heard some negative things about this bar, but let me assure you, none of them are true. As a band member that has played there, and a customer that has drank there, I’ve got nothing but good things to say about Roc Bar in the East Bank. The staff are awesome and totally take care of the bands that play there. The beer is cheap and the sound is ridiculous. The sound guy made sure we sounded our best. All in all, I love coming down and look forward to playing my next show there. Keep up the good work, guys!

The event was $20, their website says they have food, which they didnt. Not only that, they wouldnt let us re enter after finding out they have no food. Beer was over priced, service was terrible, they are trying to be classy with nothing to show for it. Dont go here. For anything.
