The place looks like a converted bar/pub with lighting that is dull and inviting. Once you get over that however, the food is reasonably good. The portions are sizable -- salamon sashmi came like blocks of fish instead of the usual thin slice and prawn tempora was 5 peices that were longer than my finger. Unfortunately, you have to put up with reasonably poor service. I was there early on a Monday evening (around 1800hrs) and even though there were only 3 guests in the restaurant, the servers were unattentive: there were 2 plus the 2 managers. The food is reasonable so Id go back but from my experience its not a place to take someone to impress them with an overal positive dining experience.

I found long, white hairs in multiple pieces of sushi in my delivery order. That was after eating a few pieces already. Truly disgusting. To top it off, they only refunded 60% of my order after I complained to GrubHub. Where they got that number, I dont know. But Im 100% not ordering from them again. Avoid!

My husband and I both enjoyed Bento Boxes at lunch and were very impressed with the food and the value! It was definitely one of our most reasonable priced meals on our trip to NYC, and we had so much food that we couldnt eat it all. Highly recommend!

Read the bad reviews but took a chance. Glad I did. Food was great. Fresh, large pieces of fish, and the appetizers were great. Great value as well. I would recommend. Was on business travel and will go again when in the area.

Loved it. Been here three times in the last 2 weeks and it is so good. They help you identify orders you would like. And teaching the menus made my feeling much more authentic. Stop by for the best sashimi and sashimi dinners

So the sushi is always fresh and the appetizers are cooked to perfection. Basically, theres nothing that I dont like about this place and the staff is very friendly. This will always be my favorite little sushi spot.

Sushi is awful at this place so I tried my friends noodles....also bad. Ive eat here before and thought it was so/so, but this last experience has sealed the deal. I will not be going back.
