I gotta say the Irving Farm on the Upper Westside is Great. Its the sole reason why I decided to try the upper east one . Which was Awful in comparison! Not only did the entire staff behind the counter have horrible energy and delivery. But you can Taste how inexperienced the Barista was. Its the worst when you get a barista that ruins the quality of the coffee. I also ordered an Avocado Chicken sandwich- Ive never seen someone be less enthusiastic while moving at a snails pace to make a sloppy sandwich. He didnt bother to toast the bread so the sandwich is flimsy. He couldnt have picked any drier two pieces of chicken & lastly couldnt have wrapped it any looser. I will stick too Maison Kayser for the East side and only the Irving farm on the west side cause this upper east one Sucks.

I literally just ordered a hot chocolate and it tastes less than average . Also, their service is terrible and they are rude and seem very distracted especially the baristas . The one lady with the glasses and the African American woman were both unprofessional and rude and didnt even make the hot chocolate as good as I would have it at a convenience store . its such a pity because the layout is nice and inside is very cozy and the seating arrangements are beautiful . Just terrible service , terrible staff as well as hot chocolate .

Ordered the $15 chicken sandwich which was dry, when I asked for a little salad dressing to sprinkle on it they had the audacity to want to charge $0.25 more! I returned the sandwich saying it was unacceptably dry and asked for my $ back. The manager said they dont offer refunds. So they remade it without any improvement. It wont go to waste...I will give it to the next homeless person I meet! This place is too pretentious for my liking....

I dont know if she hates all her customers or just the brown ones, but the lady behind the counter couldnt be less enthused to see us or when we ordered our coffee. I understand working at a coffee shop is probably not what she had envisioned for herself, but would it hurt to add a smile or make eye contact? You knew what you signed up for when you took the job, do not take it out on legitimate customers.

WARNING: no wifi! This place would be totally perfect (lots of tables, outlets, and good food and coffee) but they dont have any wifi. I dont know why more and more coffee shops are moving towards this. How many people are lucky enough to be able to read a book in the middle of the week in a coffee shop? You lost a customer. I work remotely so would have come here a lot had they had wifi.

Cozy spot with lots of seating, good food/drink and plenty of outlets but no wi-fi. I guess thats their thing. Shame really because there is a lot of unused space during the day. Id certainly stop by more often if I knew I could sit down and enjoy it their food/drink while working. Without wi-fi, there are just too many other options in this area.

great environment! had a wonderful soy latte and the best vegan cookie ever! i recently went vegan in the new year and love sweets and this is vegan cookie tasted like a real cookie. the staff all said bye when i left, they were all very kind and had many diverse faces! lots of places to sit too without the overload of people using it as their office

So happy this place opened on the UES. Weve been losing independent (i.e., non-Starbucks) coffee shops over the last few years. Hope this one can buck the trend. Coffee is great, atmosphere is relaxed with plenty of seating. Not crazy about the food, but thats mostly because I dont like starting my day carbo loading so I dont have many options here.

This is a great coffee but the rudest people all over Manhattan. Not that they only scream at you when taking the order they totally ignore any special requests - I asked for coffee not too hot and she looked at totally annoyed at me and coffee came back super hot. Happened now several times

I am visiting the city and specifically sought this place out because of the location and the cute pictures provided online. I was not disappointed. The service was quick and efficient even though the line was out the front door and the baristas were very sweet and fun to interact with.

A coffee shop with no barista? I understand if its closing time but I arrived 2 hours before. The woman working the cashier sighed when I ordered coffee and said she had to go get the barista. When the barista didnt return she said "I guess Ill have to do it myself" so I left

Bit of a chain store when it comes to coffee but if you like that sort of thing. Good snack foods and very busy, which gives it a nice feeling. I still went there a lot because it was one of the best in UES

great coffee in UES. also they have a delicious breakfast and they serve it til 2:30 on the weekdays. Im all about it. 5 stars def worth it. the ONLY complaint I have is no wi-fi. thats a problem.

Busy, but staff were handling it well and were extremely courteous. Everything, including the bathroom, was very clean. The espresso was BOMB. So glad I stopped in.
