Budin is a really nice spot, great atmosphere. However keep in mind there arent many outlets for electronics. Its more for lounging, less for working. Secondly, the hours listed on google are incorrect. I went on a Monday where Google listed they were open til 12am. I went there to work on business and by 10pm, the Barista gentleman, was taking lights off. I asked what time they close, he said "10 the earliest", as soon as the last person before me left he proceeded to tell me and my company that they were closed because at this point it would be bad for business. I had to rush to save and finish my projects and my company went to the restroom. At this point his friends come in the bar, and he threatens to lock me in. He says "okay, Ive giving you a warning that were closed." I respond "Yes, but google says youre open til 12am, so you have to give us some time to leave." He says "Actually, I dont." I proceeded to tell him, that he couldnt rush us out, and thats when you he said "Well, I have the keys." I couldnt believe I was getting into this type of argument with a worker, not to mention that we bought food! Im not one of those people who review everything just because. He made my experience horrible, I would never go there again to be subjected that treatment. Its not right.

Please dont support this establishment. The one staff member who interacted with me after 40 minutes of being there highly pressured me to buy a drink even after I kindly told him I am waiting on a friend. It looks like a great bar but please dont use and tell me that you have rent to pay. Was this close to making this my favorite bar since Im moving to greenpoint (and close to this place) soon. But now Ill be avoiding this place like the plague. All superficial and not worth the visit. Pro tip for staff: stop being passive aggressive and rude to potential customers

Best espresso in the city. Nordic style, with great espresso and latte. Licorice if you are that sort of person. And a neat design store priced for Norwegian incomes. Ignore the $10 latte buzz and enjoy the best beans on the best equipment prepared by attentive and skilled professionals. Wifi is great, and its not yet infested with laptops. Hosting public cupping events regularly.

Even their South American beans produce a light and lively espresso. They roast their own beans in Bushwick, which allows them to get the light roast they are looking for. Great espresso! I tried their $10 cappuccino, and it was very interesting, and made with high quality, hard to find kinds of licorice flavorings. Would be worth $10 if you like licorice.

Bright, airy spacious atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and a patio in back. We splurged on the Lakris latte. Its no joke-highly recommend but only if you like licorice. The cranberry orange muffin was moist and packed with cranberries. Well have to come back again to try some of the other Tim Wendelboe espresso drinks.

Thank you guys for the awesome coffee, inviting spacious inside and cute garden but most importantly for a very chill barista (he was also burning sage there :)) and his music choices! Experimental , ambient , techno, all tasteful. There are so not enough places like that in New York.

An excellent place for a mid afternoon sit down. Its tucked away from the main thoroughfare so cafe remains fairly quiet. The iced latte I got tasted great — creamy like Blue Bottles but with a touch of citrus. Prices are on the high side, it was $5 for my iced latte.

Nordic roasters equals the new wave of roasting. Light yet full of flavor that is lost when over roasting. Enjoy a cup of the licorice latte its different and delightful at least worth a try once. Aero press Ethiopian is my cup of choice.

Great solo or with friends for coffee, wine, food (they have pastries but they also bring in excellent pop-ups such as the Blue Light Speak Cheesy and North Brooklyn Farms). Also fun when they do movie night and other cultural events.

Javier is the best server there!!!! The ambiance is so relaxing and accommodating. The food is fantastic as well. Highly recommend this place! If you like a drink with your meal, I recommend the classic margarita on the rocks.

Beer. Wine. Grilled Cheese. Amazing. PRO TIP: Charge your laptop before you come! Outlets are in high demand and short supply. They have a back patio wth outdoor seating. Happy hour is 5-8pm.

BÚÐIN stocks coffee beans by Tim Wendelboe of Norway and Koppi of Sweden, with guest beans from other parts of the nordic region and the option to sign up to a whole-bean subscription service

The grill cheese and beer are sold by separate venders, but what a great combinations. The patrons starts with coffee and work, then stay for the beer and company.

Accidentally stopped by during an event or something. Grabbed a good beer recommended by the baristas. Coffee was cool as well, I think I need to come back.

Interesting space with a nice outdoor seating area. However, my soy latte was nothing special and more expensive than other cafes in the neighborhood.

The highlights are the sparse, open space, internet, beautiful back yard and a new food "start-up" cooking lunch every month. Great place

Best coffee in New York right now. Friendly staff. Warm environment. And then the sun goes down and the Nordic beer starts flowing...

Was pretty empty on Thursday night. A nice place to seat and read, but not in the evening (when they try to be a bar / party place).

Good coffee & nice atmosphere and staff. Wifi is fine, the only issue is that there is no energy outlet.
