Knows that how it chews matters as much as how it tastes. Theres a limit to how great pastries can taste, but what sets apart Bouchon is that they curate how pastries chew and taste together. A standard macaron is crispy on the outside but soft and moist in the middle, but Bouchons macaron is thinly crisply on the outside, chewy on the middle-edge, soft in the middle, and creamy in the center. Depending on where and how you bite it feels different and exciting. This is not just for macarons; many other pastries from sweet to savory offer complex chewing sensations and multiple levels of taste. It might be standard in France or Japan but its still rare and refreshing in America.

Magique!!! Le meilleur café à NYC. Le sandwich "smoke turkey" est délicieux. Finalement, les biscuits au beurre darachide sont littéralement les meilleurs que jai mangé de toute ma vie!!! The best cookies in the world! Peanut butter and chocolate...what more do you want!!!!

Bouchon Bakery offers a number of delectable treats, from delicious pastries to macarons. But you can also order a number of sandwiches and soups for a heartier meal (their grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup is legendary). Theres also a nice coffee selection. Because of the location, this one caters mostly to tourists -- the staff works hard to move the line quickly. There are a few outdoor seats right on Rockefeller Plaza, and even the indoor counter seats give you a nice sense of the space. They deliver to offices in the area.

Definitely a place to treat yourself -- both because its pricey and because the delicious stuff is the fattening stuff of course. Soup and grilled cheese sandwich combo is insane, especially if theyve got the sweet onion soup. Chicken salad on a pretzel bun is also a very solid choice. Great selection of coffees and baked goods as well. Cons are the priceyness and that its always pretty crowded, being in Rock Center. But the plus side of that is you can often sight the SNL folks, or guests of NBC Studios.

Quick service despite the long queue. Tried the breakfast combo which was a pretty good deal. You can choose coffee or tea (iced or hot), fruit bowl or yoghurt, and a breakfast pastry which I chose a chocolate almond croissant in this case. The croissant tasted like a mix between a Danish pastry and croissant. Pretty decent. If you sit at the window seating, youll get to people watch and see the today morning show set-up/ tear-down depending on the time you come. Its right in front of the NBC experience.

The macarons at Bouchon are the best ones Ive ever had with the perfect crunch on the outside and smooth fillings. Service: Helpful =) There may be a bit of a slow line when you go since Bouchon is so popular. Ambience: Its a cafe setting with outdoor seating in good weather. Its a great place to meet up with friends for a snack or coffee. Food: If they have their birthday cake macarons, GET THEM!!! They also have macarons with jam filling along with a large selection of other sweets!

I was here this past Sunday to grab a bite for breakfast and this was the best experience I ever had thanks to Carolyn! She was so friendly and patient with me since it was my first time there and she really took the time to feel welcome at bouchon. She is such an asset to the company and it would be such a mistake if the company ever lost her. The other manager on duty didnt seem so friendly; would love to see Carolyn grow with this company. Thank you for the great experience!

I work right by here and cant get enough! Nothing ever disappoints on flavor and craftsmanship! The sweets assortment is always rotating but with some classics that never get old. Favorites include, large pumpkin, pistachio and pb&j macarons, better nutter, tko, chocolate chunk cookie, and classic scone. Soups, sandwiches, savory snacks, and coffee are all great too!! Exquisite! But careful eating here too often can empty your change purse... ;-)

Had one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches that I have ever eaten. Grilled cheese paired with a tangy, robust, and flavorful tomato soup. Also macarons; better than the ones Ive had at Marthas. The way the shell breaks was a sign to me that this macaron would be one of the top ones I have eaten, the flavor was not too sweet that I couldnt take another bite, it was an amazing experience that everyone should get to enjoy.

Bouchon Bakery in Rock center is a million times better than Dean and Deluca any day. When you want your morning coffee, there is no better place than Bouchon. Its the side treats and pastries that make this place. From fist sized macarons and Bouchons to Linzer Tarts and the ultra decadent chocolate croissant they call pan e trois, Bouchon is a five star experience in the form of $4.

This old Dean & Deluca space continues the tradition of mediocre tourist-priced food in a great location. The $11 tuna sandwich was bland and even the crusty bread was really nothing special. The peppermint tea was an odd brand with a strange flavor. Theres not much seating at this location and it can be a fight to get through the line and find anywhere to enjoy the overpriced food.

Love this place! Its my favorite of their 3 locations. Im never disappointed with their food. The guys and gals behind the counter have the art of taking orders down to a science. Of course the potato balls are my favorite but their fruit danishes are good too. Ive also had the chicken croquettes and their ham and cheese omelette crossaint. Both were yummy, of course!

Renomada bakery do famoso chef Thomas Keller. Uma boa pedida pra um gostoso café acompanhado de um delicioso doce após a visita ao Rockfeller Center.

Not too bad or expensive. Staff struggled to take our order of coffee and a cake each, which we couldnt understand. They kept repeating it back to us differently and looking confused. We got there in the end but it was an awkward experience that left us looking at each other wondering if we were doing something wrong. Strange.

Delightful food and great service. We grabbed breakfast here several days over a weekend trip to the city and were impressed every time. Not a broad selection of things, but every offering was top-notch and served quickly. Over 4 seperate visits, we had not a single complaint and all the treats we sampled were excellent.

Usually the first stop one we leave Grand Central (after the bathrooms). I love the cookbook so having it prepared here is a treat. Also a great place for delicious lunch and espresso drinks. Almost always busy, but the line moves quickly. Be ready to enjoy your food at Rockefeller Center because seating is limited.

You cant go wrong if you are looking for sweet treats. The cookies and key lime were delicious! The sandwiches are OK, but nothing out of the ordinary that justifies the price. There are a few tables outside and counter stools inside where you can sit...but theyre always taken, so be prepared to wait.

This bakery from Thomas Keller is a must visit at Rockefeller plaza, especially for anyone with the cookbook of the same name. Their croissants are legendary, and everything else is on point as well. The gruyere bread is prefect for something to eat on the go. Dont plan on finding a seat..
