I know good amount of international food markets in Bethesda/Rockville, MD area. European Delight stood out among them. I needed to buy some smoked and canned fish. I also found my favorite chocolates, which took me back to my childhood in Uzbekistan for a moment. Super friendly staff. I was initially greeted by a lady, who helped me choose the smoked fish I was looking for. Gentleman at the cash machine was also friendly, greeted me promptly (this is something pretty obvious and fundamental, but widely neglected and overlooked) and nicely packed all purchased items. Importantly, the shop was clean, especially meat and cheese sections. The shop is not too big, but it is well organized and full of hard-to-find gourmet products. I will be back and would recommend it to anyone else interested in Russian/European food.

Staff was very helpful, I came into the store with a picture of a certain bacon I wanted (slanina, a Serbian word). I didnt know how to explain what I wanted, the lady did her best to match it with a Hungarian version of it. It was exactly what I wanted! Very nice selection of meat and other eastern European products. Glad I finally came across this place

This place is awesome to get some tasty culinary reminders of my time in Ukraine. Beer, kielbasa, Ukrainian bread, pelmini, and little candies from there. They got all the stuff I loved and some I did not. Friendly staff and family run operation. They got a great restaurant in Rockville called Samovar. Check it out. Also worth a visit.

This is the best Russian store i have ever been to. They have absolutely EVERYTHING. All kinds of fish, meat, cheese, bread, cakes, bakery, salads, drinks. The owner was very nice, he helped me with my bags and gave my son a Russian chocolate. Too bad we live far away and cant go there everyday :(

Didnt quite know what I wanted, but they were VERY helpful. The place is very clean, great selection of food, and they offer suggestions depending on what you tell them that you like. I will DEFINITELY come back!!
