The worst bartender I have ever encountered Tara gets mad at good tips and doesnt want to make drinks made more than $40 in tips in the hour we were there then made us leave at midnight said the bar was closed but then let other people in after waiting 5 mins for a cab she was drunk and mean horrible time wont go back if she is working!!!

My husband went there tonight and ordered me a tenderloin with fries. I have never eaten there before , when he got home I took one bite out of the sandwich and all the breading fell off and it was pink and slimy. It was disgusting. We will never eat there again. Not a good experience at all. I am just hoping I will not get sick.

I like the bar and have had good experiences in the past. Problem is last night i took some friends up there and had Tara the bartender. It was a terrible night. We tip very well and she couldnt have been worse. Shes rude and mad at the world. We will never be back. I feel sorry for the owners!

Victory Lane has got the best pizza in Des Moines. Its a quaint friendly restaurant bar and they are not overpriced. I go there at least once a month for their Pizza and they do have other food on the menu thats just as good I would recommend this place to anyone

I had been here previously and the food was great, but unfortunately had a different experience this time. I was told at 9:45 that they close at 9:00pm- even though the hours state 12:00pm each night. Maybe, I will try again another day and see what happens...

Slow, cold food,worst managed fast food EVER. Tina assistance manger Rude stupid lazy,doesnt have a clue whats going on and me and my girlfriend got food poisoning I called health department I give them a -5 save yourself and tell your friend stay away

best place to eat and just have fun with friends and family.and saterday is stake nite and the cook we call the BUS BOY is the best stake cook this side of the mississippi if you havent been ther be fore you need to go.
