This evenings food was absolutely disgusting therefore my three strikes and your out rule surpassed well before tonight is now a definite. Too bad really because they are so close to home but it was that awful! Simple takeout of a large chicken broccoli and small boneless spareribs was inedible! Old tasting chicken, huge broccoli stalks, virtually no carrots. I took maybe five forks of it and down the garbage disposal it went. Boneless spareribs were very salty, extremely fatty, odd tasting, and had a very strange color. In the past Ive had the worst teriyaki beef without a hint of teriyaki flavor and very salty. Their wonton soup has no nice shreds of tasty pork in the broth like other finer Chinese restaurants serve. Their vegetable lo mein is loaded with onions and virtually no vegetables. All the items they serve that make Chinese food so popular are all substandard and lately the quality has taken a nose dive. About a month ago the female owner spit a huge hawker into a box next to the grilling area as I walked in. I really think these people are one step back on the evolutionary scale and all very dirty folks!

Ordered online and waited an hour. No one showed up (we are only 10 mins away) so I called and I had to inform the girl that we ordered food and she pulled up the order (seeing it for the first time) on her computer and then informed me it would be an extra 20 minutes. No offer to discount the meal or anything after making us wait 90 minutes for a small order. Food was what you would expect... If you choose to buy from here, just order over the phone and/or go in person to get it. They clearly dont look at their online orders.

The best chinese I have found since I was younger. My favorite, China House in W Haven went out of business, Since moving to West Lake I have tried all of the area delivery places and moon star is by far the best, evem if they dont always offer delivery, Id rather take the kids out and pick it up than get delivery some where else. Pricing is comparable with the area 7.95 for sweet & sou chicken combo plate includes eggroll and rice. Looks like anyother chinese takeout place, greasy on the inside

Some of their best dishes are Singapore Mei Fun, Mongolian Beef and Seafood Delights. The chicken wings are good. The Crab Rangoons are good. They need to improve their fried rice and Sweet and Sour Chicken (the chicken should always be tender...not tough or over-cooked). Delivery service is good.

The worst dumplings Ive ever had; doughy with little filling. Hot and Sour soup mediocre. Hunan chicken very good, lo mein noodles mushy. It seems that chicken fingers is the same as sweet and sour chicken, unless they made a mistake on the order. Will look for better chinese restaurant.
