I will never go back. The food was awful. The pad thai was simulataneously greasy and spicy hot--coated in a reddish orange oil, poorly seasoned, with none of the delicious flavors that I expect from pad thai--having had it in many other restaurants. My companion had the orange beef--or as he put it--the chinese mystery meat which is somewhere between chicken and beef in both texture and flavor. The service despicable--when I asked "Do you have bottled water?" I received a withering look and a scoffing, harsh and condescending "no!" as if Zhangs couldnt make money off selling water and as if I was asking for illicit drugs instead. Ridiculous really. When asked for the check our server walked by our table three separate times without delivering it. We were on our way to a movie and ended up arriving late because of this delay. The other staff was also rude and insincere--not making eye contact, brushing in front of us as we were leaving and intoning "Have a good night" as if they were saying "Get out of my way..." Amazingly the atmosphere was quite pleasant but no reason to return.

the eggroll was not as good as the greasy take out down the street. the shrimp with eggplant had a sauce that was gloopy, gloppy! it was thick and full of cornstarch, lumpy. the eggplant was bitter.. the jumbo shrimps were good. scallion pancakes good, fried rice lacking pork and had small pieces of hard chicken. do not recommend!

Never had a bad dish. The miso is great and best sushi around. Try the sweetheart roll the presentation is excellent!
