As soon as I took a bite of their cheese bread, I knew that it was meant to be. Market Hall Bakery would officially be my 300th review. In total we had... 1 chocolate almond croissant, 1 cheese bread and 1 pumpkin ball. All of them were spectacular. My husband and I were fighting over each bite. I think that my favorite item was the cheese bread. I have never had such a delicious balance of wonderful bread intwined with cheesey deliciousness in each bite. The chocolate croissant was also spectacular. Apparently they only have it on the weekends, so I was lucky to have visited on a Sunday. :) Highly recommend coming here if you want some delicious baked goods that are worth EVERY calorie.

Overall a solid place for pastries (and they sure look nice!), but I’m not sure there’s anything specific that helps this bakery stand out among the myriad of delicious options in this part of the East Bay. The location is definitely convenient and they never have an issue running out of various items (unlike some of the smaller cafes), but I wasn’t overly impressed with the taste of any of the items (mainly cookies) that I tried.

Rock ridge market hall bakery can make a Vegan Chocolate Layer Cake in round or square that is so good you can feel it. They typically need a weeks advance notice but its worth it. Make sure you verify any order placed online verbally the following day.
