Good sandwiches but extremely hostile service. My "heated" sandwich was cold by the time we were allowed to pay. A tall busboy with sculpted dark hair rushed up to our table, twice, and grabbed items he deemed we were finished with. All this without saying a word to us! Who needs all this hostility? I remember, now, why I dont stop in to the Junket when Im at Trader Joes in the EC Plaza. Too much grief just to get a sandwich. I think its time for the owners to turn it over to younger people with less free floating anger. You have been warned.

The only reason I didnt award 5 stars is because they dont have Dutch Crunch rolls on Mondays! Save being on a non-preferred bread, my sandwich was top notch. Just the right amount of all the trimmings I asked for. This is not only a cafe and deli, but a speciality food store selling German and British staples that I havent seen available elsewhere in the area! Do you like a good canned plum pudding? This is the place!

A hidden European gem with British and German food on the menu. Half delicatessen half cafe, this place is a must-visit if you miss Euro food, wine or candy. Or beer. Or gifts. They really have a bit of everything. Even Norwegian brown cheese. Place is even suitable to sit and work in if this is your kind of ambiance.

Awesome place! German/British eatery with a small marketplace where you can pick up all sorts of German and UK goods that you would not normally find elsewhere. Must be nostalgic for anyone who has spent a considerable amount of time in Europe. The food and service were GREAT! Would return in a heartbeat.

Very good food. I love the westphalian ham sandwich! The service is a bit slow and inefficient, but worth it. I would give 5 stars if not for the service. Very friendly people. Nice ambiance. HUGE beer selection by the bottle.

Best chicken salad sandwich!! Ive been eating it almost weekly for 4 years (as of the date of this review). Great variety of drinks & beers. They also have a princess torte/cake and it has become my achilles heel.

German and British import foods, and a killer deli where you can get sammies. Amazing husband and wife duo are amazing. They are proud of their head cheese, but Ive never had it because head cheese is gross.

Stellar Reuben sandwich! Spinach Brioche was a bit small and lifeless for the price. Potato and bean salads were good, but small-ish quantity. Nice selection of German breads & beers.

I often come here for lunch. They are helpful and make great sandwiches. I wish they got a new credit card machine though, as it takes a long time to pay with a card.

Its UBER delicious! You get to enjoy a wonderful sandwich and a beer at the same time! It doesnt hurt that they have bavarian desserts as well! guttentaug!
