Called this establishment around 11 am and was told lunch starts at 12 and to call back to place my order. I called 13 times after 12pm they never answered the phone but proceeded to take their phone off the hook. I went in and spoke to the female manager, who was standing around talking to patrons, another male worker was just standing in the doorway WHERE THE PHONE IS btw doing absolutely nothing. The "mgr" apologized for the phone. I explained that sometimes customers would prefer to place their order via phone instead of coming in and having to sit there for 25 minutes to wait for their order. Poor business etiquette. Very poor. Do better next time Watts Coffee House.

I was introduced to the owner in October 2001. A month after my mom died. Myself, family & friends signed up for the Steve Harvey radio show. Desiree the owner was the chef that morning we dined sufficiently as my husband would say. In June 2002, my husband & I hosted our son & daughter in law rehearsal brunch there. And we continue to eat there as recent as 3 weeks ago. If youre looking for some good food, old school music & relaxation Watts Coffee House It Is!!!!

It was very hot. Was about 90° in Los Angeles. This added to the heat of the restaurant. Didnt get food because I was there for the comedy show. Will get food on my next visit. I hear it is very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The buffet here is dry and awful. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Atmosphere cozy and somewhat clean. Service was nice a inviting. Food no no and no!
