San Pedro has a lot of little hidden gems such as Think Cafe. Right upon walking in for the first time, I felt that this is locals-only "hot spot" as customers were chit chatting with the staff as old friends. Although I cant fully recall everything during my first visit, except that the food and service were great. I want to take this time to highlight my most recent visit on Tuesday. My 5 other colleagues and I were quickly seated since we had a 12pm reservation. I believe the same waitress from my previous visit took our order. She went over the specials and really took good care of us. I had pineapple juice and the white fish in special sauce from the days special completed with the chocolate hot lava cake. Pineapple juice was good, not overly sweet. The small size is pretty small, but I wanted to save room so it was fine. The special sauce consisted of chopped up tomatoes, corn bits, and diced up bell peppers swirled in a tangy sauce with a hint of spice went well with the brown rice. The fish seemed to have been broiled and light, yet tasty when mixed in with everything. I felt really healthy with no guilt eating the main course. The chocolate hot lava cake melted in my mouth. The hot chocolate "lava" was delicious! I could drink it alone if it were an option! The cake was moist, not too sweet, but definitely flavorful. I ate that up with no problem! My key to not feeling yucky after a great meal here was the fact that I didnt eat any complimentary bread. In the past I had a piece or two, the breads pretty standard. I rather make room in my stomach for the better stuff.

fast paced atmosphere upon arriving, gentleman behind the counter was very friendly, took my order and let me know how long it would be. since there was no bench or waiting area for to go orders, I proceeded to sit at a table to wait. after about 10 minutes a blonde waitress approaches me to say "your order is almost done, would you mind waiting over here, we need the table" of course I walked to the counter only to have my order be ready one minute later. now that one minute makes or breaks the experience. she could have avoided making me feel unappreciated for my meager $20 lunch by waiting one more minute. but she didnt .... the food didnt surpass the experience of feeling like just another herd of lunch peeps. Bottom Line, even though its a 5 minute walk from my work, I will not be back, im sure my business will be much more appreciated just a block over at many other restaurants.

The good: The service was excellent, and the ambiance was nice and quiet. I got the impression this is the type of place families and older couples make their regular when they want a peaceful night out. The creme brule was 7/10 and the best part of our meal. The bad: The food was extremely mild. Like I said, maybe theyre catering to older peoples taste buds. Everything we ate was pretty "meh" which I dont think is acceptable for the prices they have here. The prices would be good if the food had any wow factor in the flavor, but it didnt. This is the type of restaurant I think of as a "safe" option for taking your family where everybody will be able to find a dish they normally enjoy. Good for a quiet night out. But Id never bring a foodie or a hot date here.

Think Cafe is one of the better lunch venues in all of San Pedro with a wide variety of great tasting meals to choose from and a bustling atmosphere to enjoy. The wait staff are more than friendly, often going above and beyond the call for their customers to make every visit feel special. This is one location that works perfectly for a lunch date or casual business meeting both categories of company will relish. The menu can feel overwhelming with such an amount of different cuisines and while almost all of them are prepared very well, it does seem like one or two have been "phoned in" so to speak. In the long run though, with great staff and great food there isnt a whole bunch more one can ask for in a cafe such as Think...

I work on the cruise liners and every 2nd Sunday the ship Im currently working stops in San Pedro and a group of 3 or 4 of us go to Think Cafe and were always extremely happy with the lunch/breakfast they serve, My personal favorite is the steak and eggs breakfast. Its unusual to get eggs EXACTLY the way you like them I ask for sunnyside and as jelly as you like; thats how I get them. I cant make it on April 25 but Ill be back on May 9 with tongue hanging out! The service is also excellent.

The food here is awesome, they will always customize to your diet needs, and the service is great. The Chef specials are amazing and the servers are great. PS: there is only one male server here and let me tell you... he makes my meal every friday night worth it (tall, dark and handsome!) :), but seriously I love this place. Music every saturday night!

Stopped in here for the first time this past weekend. Place was nice, clean and pretty busy. Waitress was pretty and very friendly too. Ordered the Ahi Tuna salad which was good and priced well too. Will definitely be back again.

Awesome place for bfast, lunch, dinner! The fresh made soups, the scallop specials or whatever is fresh that day, or the superb wines and "if you can Think it we will make it omelet"--ALL are sublime!

Great little place for lunch or dinner (lunch is busy but dinner is quiet). Had business associates and customers -- it is always great.

The food here is excellent. The wine selection is good. Its simple and laid back. It has a diner feel without the diner experience.

Really delicious food, good for Breakfast, Lunch, or dinner, and the price/portion balance is perfect. Great for a casual sit-down.

Service was fine, yet my $7 french toast was completely soggy like uncooked cake batter. Lefted hungry and disappointed.

Always good and the music on Saturday nights is a very nice touch! I wish they had a full bar menu.
