Definitely not expensive, I was there during my testing, and studies, and the waitress basically Asian, so weird, I ordered, she brought the coffee, I was on the phone and looking for something, she has some kind of mental illness, she was standing there , like a weirdo, I told her I havent paid for the coffee yet I dont want it. The cashier knew I went to look for my wallet. The waitress was right next to her, some very outrageously suspicious there that day. Other than that, the sandwich, was absolutely delicious, the other waiter was very nice, we enjoyed our lunch thank you very much, and then we left happy.

Love, love, Love the Tickle Tree Cafe!!! We are addicted to the fabulous Tickletree burger with Applewood bacon but on these hot days the Soba Noddle salad hits the spot! I must have either one with a tall, icy glass of mint lemonade (made fresh daily) They bring in pastries and cake from a Westside bakery (cant remember the name) that are just incredible. Highly recommend!

The Turkey and Swiss sandwich and sweet potato fries are so delicious. My kids werent into the Swiss on the Grilled Cheese. Seating is a little difficult at lunch time. This wouldnt be a good place for a large lunch group. The parking lot is tiny but there is some street parking. Be careful of the swivel bar chairs! Two of us had pinched fingers before we left.

Why I love this place: 1. Salads come in bowls that you can drown in. 2. Banana pancakes are so good youll question your love for your eating partner as you fight them for the last bite. 3. Ample outdoor seating for reading, studying, chatting. Gets filled up during rush hours. Parking can be a pain but I just park on the street that leads to the library.

Great little cafe. I absolute love there freshly brewed coffees and their garlic fries (not at the same time lol). It can be a bit pricey though - for example I order a sandwich that comes with fries and a lemonade and spent $18. Not a big deal because the food is good, but keep that in mind so your not surprised.

Surprisingly good. We ended up here after Byblos Cafe, across the street, told us that they had no more room (meanwhile, two tables sat empty with reserved signs on them, mind you they are plastic folding tables) The food is hot, tasty, reasonably priced and the outdoor seating is beautiful.

This is a great local place for breakfast our a quick lunch. Much better food quality than you would expect from a local diner, more in keeping with hipster locations like weho or silverlake. Definitely a go-to location. Try the huevos rancheros, the BLAT, and the coffee drinks.

Its great breakfast spot, there lattes are good. But hate how stricked they are about the menu and cant change things around on the menu. Also its common sense that you would bring out the coffee with the food not 15 minutes before your order. Want to enjoy my coffee with the food.

I love this place. The owners are very kind and humble. All the employees are respectful. They offer vegetarian and vegan plates. There sweet potato and garlic fries are the best. They have a wide variety of coffee drinks. The environment and relaxing music always refreshes me.

Great food, great ambiance. The mint lemonade is amazing! Love the portabello mushroom sandwhich and the sweet potato fries are awesome! I usually call ahead my order and they always have it hot and ready! Excellent customer service too! Definitely recommend coming here!

A charming spot to meet friends and have a cozy cup of tea or delicious banana walnut pancakes.The Tickle Tree omelet is also wonderful.Order one of each and share. Outdoor patio also is beautiful. Cushions on chairs or benches would be more comfortable.

The food was cold even though it was served quickly. The sausage was half cooked. The lady didnt listen when we placed the order and it is way overpriced for what you get. I mean really...a $1.00 surcharge on a coffee refill!
