This is going to be a strange way to describe a Vietnamese banhmi shop, but this is not like any other banh mi shop (any that Ive been to at least). Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by shop owners Vu and his sister Anne, and the other smiley gentleman who made my sandwich in the kitchen. While Vu was kindly going over the menu with me, I was overcome with a sense of peacefulness.. maybe it was the 4pm sun coming through the windows, the old school purple barstools and purple orchids on every table, or even his white hair which made you feel like you were talking to a wise sage. Anyway, I was already having a good experience just ordering my house special sandwich (#1) when it gets even better! His sister comes out from the back and greets me with a bowl of buttery sugary toast and an iced jasmine tea saying she was so happy that I came and wishing me a happy Vietnamese new year and everything. And even when my sandwich came out, the owner handed it to me with both hands and a small head bow, and let me tell you, if youve never felt this level of kindness and respect from a food joint, you need to come experience this for yourself. And since I wasnt expecting so many goodies, I had so many things to carry, so without hesitation, Anne picked everything up, walked me to my car and opened my door for me! I left feeling so taken care of hahah. And later I found two extra cookies in my bag. Anyway, the sandwich was awesome and I like that you can use your debit card here. I know this review was longer than usual, but I had to share my awesome experience. Much gratitude to Sandwich House, I will definitely be coming back soon.

Sandwiches are delicious. They also have American options as well. Reasonably priced for what you get. The space itself is very quaint, with lots of fresh fruits on display under the counter and letters of love taped to the wall. Service was outstanding. We ordered 3 sandwiches which was going to take a little time to make, so the person who took our order invited us to sit down and offered us these bread-dessert things and iced green tea (in to go cups) with a refill in a carafe. For only spending $20, they very much went out of their way to make us happy. It was the best treatment Ive ever had at a sandwich shop. Most importantly the sandwiches are delicious! Beware the Vietnamese traditional sandwiches are very spicy. Delicious but spicy. Enjoy!

I have been coming to this place since it practically opened and I figured I should finally write a review on it! The owner is so wonderful and energetic and she will make a point to remember you which makes coming here so much more amazing! There is no wrong choice in food because everything is amazing. I personally love the #16 which is a ham and cheese croissant and the beef stew with bread! They give you complementary tea and sweet little slices of bread that have been toasted! Ill probably come here for as long as I live in the area :)

What a nice little sandwich shop with the best service. I came here with my friend who brought her two little kids, and while my friend was waiting for me to come, the owner brought out some tea for her. When we arrived, she helped put two tables together so the four of us could eat together. Service was spectacular, sandwiches were less than $5, and the food was good. I got the house sandwich which you can get with a white or wheat roll. We got one of each, and both were delicious. Ill definitely come again for a quick meal.

Fantastic food, super friendly service, what more can you ask for? My fiancé and I came by for lunch the other day and both had the BBQ pork sandwich. Not only was the bread amazing (crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside) but the sandwich came with little cookies and we got free iced tea too! The food is good enough to make this a regular place on my short list, but the service was so friendly I feel like I need to yell everyone it should be on their short list too!

We come here for the bahn mi. Best anywhere. Bread is impossibly fresh as are the veggies. Iced tea is included and the prices are the most reasonable anywhere. The place is very tiny and sometimes theres no place to sit, and parking can be trying as well, but its totally worth the trip. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Love this place.

First, let it be known that yes, the food is absolutely amazing. But in all honesty, the owners are the nicest, sweetest, most caring people Ive ever met, and thats why I keep coming back. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Prices are reasonable. You get amazing iced tea with every order and these great little cookies. They make you feel so welcomed and they really try to get to know their customers and always remember everyones name. And they give all Cypress College students 10% discount!

Top notch customer service! The sandwiches are really tasty, but they skimp on the fillings. Very thin spread of tuna. Also tried to the BBQ pork and the pork was barely there. I wish they would add a bit more for the price. The bread is fantastic though, way better than Lees.

Best Banh Mi; the French bread is how it should be, light and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Ingredients taste very fresh and the house special sandwich comes with the right amount of patte. Service is the best Ive experienced at any establishment.

Great service, amazing FRESH food at a more than decent price. I always get the vegetarian Banh Mi with avocado plus add egg. It was an instant love affair! They also serve you iced tea on the house if you dine in, perfect on any hot day.
