By looking at it from the outside, its understandable if youre at first a little reluctant to try their food. Not to say the outside is unattractive, its just that you can tell the place is kind of a "greasy spoon" breakfast place, and those types are usually either really great or really bland & gross. This place was definitely not the latter. The homestyle potatoes were great, as was the veggie omelet. Portions were large enough that you could prob just share one plate. Ive returned here now a couple of times, and always leave pretty satisfied.

We Were visiting from LA and wanted a good hearty meal before getting on the road to return to So.Cal and happened upon this place. We had stayed in Alameda and wanted a close place. The food was very good! The atmosphere was family oriented with that old country charm to the inside. The ommlets were delicious. I asked for an omelet that wasnt even on the menu and the gal was more than happy to have it fixed my way. Any time I go back up, I will stop here for brunch. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

The coffee was cold and weak so I ask for a new cup of coffee but instead of giving me a new one, she took my cup and brought it back hot, meaning she put it in microwave. OMG! that is so wrong! The blueberry pancake is alright but not great. I was disappointed and not coming back!
