This could possibly be the worst Italian dinner Ive ever had. I will first start out by saying I have never been to an olive garden, so this review might represent this location or all of them. I know its not fine dining, but I would also expect a lot more from such a large company with so many locations. The first thing that shocked me was the their clientele. Every table had at least one guy wearing tennis shoes, denim shorts, t-shirts and a baseball cap. I was taught at six years old to take your hat off inside a restaurant. One man was actually. wearing a red tank top. No one wants to look at your arm pits while they eat. This of course is not the restaurants fault, but still will keep me from going to another one. Also, this is nothing to do with snobbery, but just a total lack of manners in the average American these days. Most of the women were dressed appropriately, so good job ladies, you need to dress your men. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. Though they did not know the menu very well. They were not very helpful with wines and couldnt answer questions about what was in certain items. Their great attitude and service did compensate for their lack of knowledge so I still tipped well. The food was horrible. Who cares about included salad and breadsticks if they dont taste good. I would rather pay for these items if it helped improve the flavor. The salad was a little better than an average iceburg lettuce salad but still boring. A spring mix would work much better and have more flavor. The breadsticks were hard and salty. They tasted like any other store bought bread that was stuck in an oven. I think bread should be made onsite and served that day only. They tasted frozen and weeks old. Just lazy for a restaurant. I ordered the eggplant parmesan. It looked like it had been sitting in the window for ten minutes. The cheese was barely melted on the eggplant. The dish had water that had seperated from the pasta or sauce that completely softened the breading on the eggplant. When you cut into fried food you want that crisp sound, anything else is disappointing. The pasta was bloated and soft. Perfect for senior citizens, but horrible for anyone who actually likes Italian food. The reason I have never gone to an olive garden was confirmed by actually going to one (or being forced to by the person I was with). Its boring and bland. Ive been fortunate to live in cities that always had at least ten great local restaurants. Places that had chefs instead of cooks. Having just moved to La Crosse I will be on the hunt for Italian food worth paying for.

We usually visit Olive Garden at least 2 or so times every few monthsans we usually always have great service and great meals. I have ordered all ranges of different items on their menu. I have had their Chicken Marsala and Mashed Potatoes(Absolutely delicious) The Potatoes were creamy and clearly homemade. I have also had pasta dishes such as Spaghetti with sausage, Chicken Fettuccine, and Carbonara. Prices are a bit high which I wish were a little lower because a lot of their pasta dishes are just frozen so I could see them being a few dollars less for just frozen cuisine. The Salad and Breadsticks with their famous Alfredo sauce is wonderful and we do pay extra for that. This location is a great one the only reason I didnt give them a 5 is due to the overly frozen overpriced cuisines, but thats not their fault thats the corporation. Wish they would make fresh!

We have been coming to Olive Garden for years, and the service has always been good. Today, however, I cannot say that. They have recently decided to use only one half of their restaurant, so we had to wait for a table even though there were vacant tables available on the side they sre using. That took 15 minutes. It has now been 20 minutes and we do not have our food (soup, salad and breadsticks). Another 5 minutes. Now we have our food. It is good as always. I am with my daughter and granddaughter. They did not provide a plate for my granddaughter. She only eats the breadsticks. Not a big deal, but that has never happened before. The whole experience today has been very disappointing. Also, this happened in the afternoon, not during a busy time. It will be a while before I come back.

March 11, 2017-My husband and I decided to eat at Olive Garden. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated immediately. However, 5 minutes passed and no server stopped although at least 3 passed our table several times. Thinking maybe we needed to use the iPad to let the server know we were ready to order, we pushed the call server button on the iPad. Another 5 minutes passed, as well as the same servers. By this time the tables on either side of us, who were seated after us, were being served their salads. Needless to say, we got up and left. The hostess who seated us, was at her station as we walked out. She said nothing!! Not a "Thank you" or "Have a good day"!! Probably wont go back...

OMG! The worst service I have ever received. From walking in with the crabby hostess who never made eye-contact, or welcomed us to the person who seated us who only starred at the computer this is a disaster. I checked with the our waitress prior to ordering that our coupons would be applied to the meal. She assured up that they would. Long story. short, they were not. It is a long journey for us to travel to Olive Garden and after studying our coupons carefully we still do not understand why the coupons were not applied. We will never visit this restaurant again! New Years Eve experience : Freezing cold...asked to move...we were told the restaurant is kept cold so that the servers dont get warm - "it gets pretty hot when youre running around from table to table. Then we were told that Soup was not an option this evening. (Which we came for). I ordered a coffee, to which I was told the bartender left, so I could not have a coffee. Food and appetizers arrived all at once. A terrible experience. Happy New Year...

Food was OK. Coke was not watered down like at Fazolis. Worst part was the suited curmudgeon sitting in the corner. Kept peering disapprovingly at me for some reason. Thought about going to the Target across the street and buying the guy a Badger hat, a pair of jean shorts and a Packers t shirt as a man card starter kit. He did seem to stare approvingly at the women in the place so perhaps there is hope for the guy yet.

Just tried to get in with a group of 12 with call-ahead reservations and they could not take us because they already have a group of 30 coming in. My ladies were already on their way out there. I called them yesterday to make reservations and they dont take reservations ahead, except to call right before you come. Thats not right. Look at the business they lost - we even had cocktails!
