House made focaccia bread is superb, and the sandwiches with which it is made underscore this. The best tuna sandwhich I have ever eaten (Ive eaten a lot tuna sandwhiches). The hashbrowns are unique and deliciously crispy but the sandwhich was a really tough act to follow. An essential Madison eatery and it hasnt been around more than 3 months. Updated 7/28: I learned recently that the tuna sandwich was replaced with a "vegetalian" number, and though I was skeptical initially (I really wanted tonno), the vegetalian was delicious. I finally had a chance also to stop by for the Friday Night Dinner series and it was one of the best meals Ive had in the city. Excellently composed and executed. Corn agnolotti was transcendent.

I work just across the street from Casetta so I find myself coming here fairly often for lunch. I havent had a sandwich yet that I didnt like, though some are definitely clear winners, like the chicken cutlet sandwich, and I think the hero beats out focaccia when it comes to the bread choice. Admittedly, I find the food to be a bit on the pricey side but given its location, the quality of ingredients and care in constructing my sandwich, I think it all evens out. Before looking it up, Id walked past it numerous times and assumed from the name that it was a kitchen design business, but Im glad I figured out it was a restaurant.

Casetta is fantastic. Their lunch sandwiches are spot on and the deli sides are great - definitely a fan of the broccoli deli side. Their Friday dinners have become a weekly standard for my wife and I. We have enjoyed the food and wine pairing thoroughly every time and the staff really make each meal special. I cant wait to go back this Friday.

As a former resident of metro-Boston, I have been consistently underwhelmed by the Italian Deli scene in Madison. Not anymore. The Italian Sandwich here is excellent. Even though the wait was a bit longer than some locations, it was clear that great care and respect was put into my ingredients. This will be my new go-to lunch option.

Ive only had a sandwich here so far but the portions were very generous. A half specialty sandwich for $6 filled me up no problem. The prosciutto, provolone, and hot peppers really stood out as quality ingredients. Really looking forward to trying more.

I had the Hoboken sandwich today and it was really good. Fresh mozzarella was a nice touch. Sandwich was filling and I had to finish. My fiancé had the green eggs and ham, and she almost ordered another to-go. Would definitely visit again!

This place blew my socks off! Super friendly staff and some of the best sandwiches Ive ever had! Their gluten free bread is delicious, which is impressive on its own. Turkey and roast beef are made in house and nitrate free. Go here.
