Will not go back to this Perkins for a very long time if ever. Normally Perkins is a great place. Now I dont know whats going on with this one but for the past year they have been off their game at this location. Well last night took the cake. 11st we werent greeted when we came in. The gal who ended up being our waitress just stood there gawking at what tables she had for five mins. Mind you they werent busy either. Once seated she disappeared for ten minutes then comes back and takes our drink and dinner order. Two mins later she comes back and wants to confirm our order which I have no idea what she wrote down or where she put it but she had it completely wrong. Even the drinks. So we retold her our order. Fifteen mins later and two sets of drinks later as she still got them wrong.... She brings our bill- a full ten mins before we got our food. When our food finally came out the waffle was cold and looked like someone was picking parts off it, the burger platter had the lettuce tomato and onion on it that we have repeatedly told her that we didnt want and the asparagus looked like someone let it sit in the sun for five days then boiled it to death. Plus she took our order to a different table first then brought it to ours. She also brought out a stack of pancakes that she thought we ordered with our cheeseburger... Finally we took our bill and went to pay and leave. She told us her life story while trying to pay. Now Im all about compassion and being understanding but there are limits. I have worked in the foodservice business for a number of years and never seen something like this. I really hope she gets her act together and this location too. They used to be great. Now its just a series of the same type of people they seem to hire. Sad.

My family went to your establishment this past Sat. July 5th. There was a party of 10 people waiting in the lobby while the restaurant was empty. Approx 5 more small tables came in and we all proceeded to stand in the lobby while the staff ignored every one of us. One hostess was very slowly putting two tables together for the party while the cooks and the waitresses peeked from behind the wall. Not once did anyone else attempt to talk to us or better yet get us all seated and offer coffee. More people attempted to come in and walked away because the lobby was full, people like us who had been waiting started leaving. The hostess came back and sat the party of 10 and the waitress went to the table. No-one came back over to the rest of us... once again left us waiting. We decided to leave along with 3 other families that were behind us. Completely unacceptable service... you unfortunately lost a lot of business that day and I am guessing this has happened before. I will never visit this establishment again.

Pretty terrible but it always kind of has been. I have honestly only gone here like maybe 2 times in the last 2-3 years because it has been so awful. One time I decided to take my grandmother here for Breakfast instead of Marges Bad Idea always stick to something tried and true. We arrived it was a bit busy and we ordered, the waitress a young women brought out our food and my Grandmothers order was incorrect, it was supposed to come with Pancakes and all it came with was eggs and Toast and I think Sausage patties. I then went to the front because I could not find our waitress and told them this, they did bring out her pancakes but at the end we were still charged the same and I personally thought that was unfair we had to wait 10 minutes for overly watered down Pancake Box mix pancakes and my Grandmother said her sausage links were watery definitely freezer sausages gross. We just paid our bill and never returned!

I would give this a 1, but for the fact that the waiter was doing his best, and the manager did address my complaints adequately. But that said, this is EASILY and by far the worst Perkins Ive ever visited. And Id put the blame squarely on the kitchen. In a sparsely populated restaurant, it took over 30 minutes for a single meal to come out. It came out cold, missing a side order, and missing a topping. They had also placed cold slices of cheddar on top of the fried eggs, which was odd, to say the least. I can say the my experience was common, as I watched similar problems going on at ALL tables around me, with diners complaint about heir wait and also having to request things that were supposed to accompany their meals.

Went for brunch and had a great time, we requested a booth and were seated within minutes. Our server greeted us immediately and was very friendly, she told us about their specials going on and got our drink order. We looked over the giant menu and my girlfriend got a muffin, chocolate chip pancakes and hash browns. I went with the brioche French toast, sunny side up eggs, chicken sausage, and hash browns. Our ticket time was about ten minutes which wasnt bad at all since it was about 11:30am on a Saturday. The food was excellent and the eggs were cooked just as ordered. This is always a great spot to hit up when you are feeling hungry.

I have eaten here many times. It is one of the only places in LaCrosse that serves food after 10 p.m that is not pizza or fast-food. The food has always been very good, every time. Additionally the staff is always pleasant, even at times they are clearly understaffed. Perkins rewards is a nice thing to be part of as well, and the over night discounts on appetizers and desserts is worth taking advantage of. Overall the food is definitely worth the price, and this is my personal favorite late night eating spot.

My GPS told me this was a bait and tackle shop. When I went inside to try to get a dozen nightcrawlers, I was told by the hostess that they did not sell worms at this location. What kind of bait shop doesnt sell worms? I ended up having to dig my own worms in the park near this bait store and when I offered to sell some back to the store they told me they didnt want them, even at the generous discount I was prepared to offer. This place is never going to survive in the cutthroat world of bait and tackle.

Its hit or miss here for decent service. Tonight, it took pretty much a half hour just to get coffee. They had to "brew a new pot" We ordered. Then, my food was delivered to a different table. Even though the person didnt touch the plate, they made me a new one. Another 15+ minutes wasted. Got my food. It was good. Received the bill..... Nothing taken off. No discount on their screw up. Paid full price. At least checking in, I received a free piece of pie...... Poor management tonight.

The waitress was careless. She forgot our chicken strips on our sampler.. which automatically comes with three items the chicken being the third. Dumped water all over the table never wiped it up. The food was dry, no flavor. And gave us one glass of water, which was our choice of drink and never came to refill it... the cups are small. Do not reccomend coming here for anything..as tempting as the half off pie sounds im going to have to pass im super dissapointed.
