TERRIBLE SERVICE! Had high hopes for this bakery bar upon entering. Strike 1: Walked in and not greeted or even spoken to with in the first 5 min. Sat down at a table and looked around clueless with only strange looks from the staff. Figured that was my clue to get up and order from the bar. Strike 2: The bartender didnt put in the order when requested but waited about 15 min before coming over to the table and then asking for a card to start a tab before placing the order. I explained I wanted to use cash but he insisted on the card anyway. My card was charged and open ticket holding fee. (FOR a Salad mind you) Strike 3: Selection of cakes looked picked over and not a fresh as I had hoped. I simply decided to forgo the desert. Strike 4: Decided at this point to close my check. The bartender was about to charge the tab, but I again explain I would like to pay cash. He looked at me stunned. Then I asked how the open tab fee would be reversed. Again a confused look and he said he would reverse the charge. (Still not reversed ). Dont think we will be back.

What a nice place! I went here a couple hours after dinner with some relatives. We were referred here by the front desk staff at the St.James Hotel- and what a great suggestion! The place has a very calm and inviting energy and it has a rustic feel. The lady running the bar was very sweet and was great in explaining how the whole process works. I ordered one of their cocktails and a dessert (dont remember the name) that was almost like a creme brulee with vanilla pudding at the bottom. The dessert and drink were delicious! Its such a great concept and I would definitely return if I make my way to NOLA again!

Wow, I did a google search for desserts near me and the Bakery Bar came up. Am I glad I came here. The wife and son agree. I had a slice of the peanutbutter cup doberge. Talk about wonderful! I will definitely be back next time I come to NOLA.

I love the cake and love love love the burger. Staff is typically friendly. But I really hope the burger makes it back to the afternoon menu. Oh and do yourself a favor and get a dish of grits with bacon and cheese. Best grits I ever had!

Went in at 1 pm was disappointed that any of the reasons I wanted to go there for were not available since the kitchen was not open. So if you want to go gor the entire menu dont go til after 6pm. Pd prices a little high

The pours are solid. The cakes are amazing. I had them do my wedding cake before this bar opened and I came in tonight to find the pistachio cake bites in the case. Took me right back. The hamburger was delicious also.

Fantastique! Love Bakery Bar & Chucky. Great for lunch & am looking forward to their happy hour next week. Doberge bites are excellent. Weve sampled the thin mint, wedding cake and maple. Faith is super helpful too!

The atmosphere, staff and cake choices make this an extremely promising when we come back stop. They have board games, a patio, gaming and an exotic doberge selection available. Mmmmm....cant wait.

Its an original concept with friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. We love to go, play games, and enjoy sweet treats and drinks. Definitely check out this well kept New Orleans secret.

I live close to Bakery Bar.Geat people working there. It is a big place with lots of room and clean decorating. Cake is good, drinks are well made. Ive been a couple times and had fun. 10/10
