Ive come here a few times. I normally shop at Wal-Mart, but I like the slight change and refreshed feeling of a different store that provides value. I stopped in to grab a few items and ended up shopping around. I wanted an item that was locked up in the electronics department. I waited around about 5 minutes before I seen an employee walking by.. I asked if he could get the item.. He said no. He said he would find somebody. He walked away looking around confused. 2 other emoloyees walk by as I waited, I kindly asked if they could unlock the item, they said no. They offered to find somebody, but I told them someone was already looking. I literally stand there another 10 to 15 minutes.. Finally, I walk away. I figured I had some other items to grab, maybe theyll show up when I get back. As I go to grab my other items, I see a group of employees. Maybe having a little team huddle.. I grab my remaining item and walk over by them.. I see one of the emoloyees that walked by before, I get his attention. He motions towards who looked to be leading the huddle, possibly a manager. After he tries to get his attention for 2 minutes, he Finally looks up at his employee.. The guy that walked past said this is the guy as if he had already told him about me waiting. They guy looks up at me and says sharp and rude can you wait just one more minute.. Ill be over there, Just one minute and then turns his attention away from me. Now, I dont like to be that shopper that complains. I could see if I hadnt already invested almost 20 minutes of my time trying to get one item that I wanted to purchase. And Ive worked retail for a long time, so I know in-house tasks can tie up your time. But, as far as experiences go, this was quite ridiculous! Nobody was prepared to help, didnt seem aware of who could help, and when I finally find the person that seemed that could help, they rudely asked me to just wait a little longer!! Well, right on buddy! I paid for my items, less the one that I wanted, and wont be back! ✌ Maybe some coaching would be of benefit to teach that dude the value of a customers time, business, and overall experience...

Loving the new store. Had a great experience last night! Stopped an associate to ask the price of an item and got a totally rude answer and down right cut off when trying to ask her her ruling on the situation. Long story short another employee Alejandro came up after she went to find someone else. He was appalled by her manurism and found another manager Briana who was so kind and appologetic for the original encounter with the first manager. Thank you both for taking care of me and looking out for the customer! These guys deserve a raise!!! I will deffinitely keep shopping at this location. So glad to have a friendly superstore in the area!

This is for the Greenfield location. I have given this store a fair run over the past three months since it opened. The grand opening met customers with great service, but this has sadly gone down hill. I called corporate and the store director to issue a complaint regarding a 27 minute wait in the customer service line on a slow Sunday morning that was clearly understaffed. Employees seem to give the brush off when asked where to locate products. My most recent visit was met with a dirty self-checkout and an employee who was just standing there with idle hands. Sorry to say Im no longer impressed, but the location in Wauwatosa is great!

Unlike Pick & Save and Wal-Mart Meijer,s has a clerk ready to check you out 24-7. There should be a class action lawsuit against them, youre doing their job of check yourself out, without compensation.Thats just wrong.P&S and Walmart want more profit without spending. Screw their employees. I do not work for either! Corporate greed just pisss me off. Where does it stop? Are you all just a bunch of sheep? Fight back!!! Shop and then ask for a clerk! What? No clerk? Leave the cart and walk away. And never come back!!! Hit them where it hurts!!!!!

This post has to do with your pet department. The reason Im leaving this one star is because of your betta keeping practices. Youve beat Wal-Mart in the horrible conditions your bettas are living in. I have never seen worse. Train your staff in keeping up with them or dont sell them at all. Some people might think, "they are just fish" but if you cannot even keep up with daily water changes and a decent amount of water (some had barely 2 inches) Im thrilled you dont have other animals for sale. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

The most non-caring management you can possibly find. A friend of mine was verbally assaulted (and almost physically assaulted) by a ghetto female worker named Shay (Whom apparently has assaulted customers before and has anti-white mental illness). The manager didnt apologize and while she offered to compensate my friend, didnt follow through with it at all. Obviously the CANCEROUS BEHAVIOR of this store comes from the very top. The whole place should be shut down as they dont care about anything other than your money.

Brand new store. They sell bean sprouts! I got to have them for that crunch in my egg foo young, my homemade fried rice. Oh there is so much more. They have those meat cases filled! Its like you are getting a good product not just whats left or already picked over. Everything is available to you 24hrs... That means convience. Have you seen those Egyptian cotton towels? There is so much room in the aisles. Pleasant atmosphere. Its in the neighborhood. Lots to like.

Great prices on meat but the bakery is another story..... I went today to get Kaiser rolls and had to wait 10 mins just to be acknowledge only to be told that they were just cake decorators so I had to wait another 10 mins to fine the lady that actually worked the bakery. Then I was told they didnt have any Kaiser rolls!! This was my 1st and last time going to this store!!! Oh and there were plenty of employees walking around on phones.

Moved to Wisconsin from Michigan (Meijers home state) in 1988 and literally have been waiting for this day for SO LONG. Meijer has always been a step above the rest. Customer service and staff are excellent. Love the new Greenfield location, conveniently a mile from my home. Great produce selection. Love the fresh cut deli meats vs. the other stores that have it precut & just sitting there. Keep up the good work!!

Seems like an over glorified Walmart. Ive only been there once and can say Im not a fan. Ive also browsed their website and can say Target and Walmart are much cheaper. The only way they get customers is putting prices on their ad items so low which drags people in and tricks them into buying more once they arrive. The only reason it gets 3 stars is the choices avaliable, such as their generic version of Cocoa Puffs.

Went to buy a Meijer fryer that was on sale for.59 cents a pound and it was coming out to 1.09 a pound told the Meijer employee, but didnt believe and husband went to get the same chicken with the sale price on it and then Meijer employee questioned if we put the label on it. I will not be returning there. Bad experience and took more time waiting on the price change than the amount of time it took me to shop.
