As I have a yen for one particular soup, Won-ton, Ive ordered it all around town, excepting in the buffet restaurants...I ask to get the tureen refilled (with won-tons this time please) and start my meal with a bowlful. Only once did I receive a portion that was actually disappointing and it was likely just an off-day. Point in fact, despite the wide range of okay to really quite good, I like it so much that I never thought Id have reason...up or down, to write a review about it. This evening my wife went to China King Restaurant and made it a point to let me know that it was my sweet daughter , O , that bugged her into getting me my soup as a take out treat . She told me that the woman behind the counter was the "nicest person " as an aside, and that everything was nice and clean, smelled great and the soup was the least expensive that shes ever gotten ! With all this praise I was almost afraid to try the soup. The container was so hot that I thought the broth would be boiling...there were so many won-tons I was sure that my dear woman payed for extras, and with nothing to complain about, I opened the crackles / noodles that comes with it expecting a tasty oily treat. Well, the crackles were the crunchiest oil-free tasty noodles Ive had the joy to eat. The freshly made broth was richly flavored and lo and behold, the won-tons were large, creamy smooth with a perfect bite (cut them first and save the roof of your mouth) and inside each one was a generous meaty filling. Despite the fact I want able to complain at all and having to listen to my wife go on about what a better place it was than many...it had the saving grace of offering the absolutely best won-ton soup Ive had in decades. When I take my wife out to Chinese next month, theres no guesswork involved in where I am going to take her. Well get our standards and Ill be able to rate and review at least a half dozen items. All for you ..out there reading it of course !

Im writing this after my fourth time ordering from here. All four times were really great experiences so I just had to write a good review for them. I LOVE their veggie lo mein - they add tons of broccoli, snow peas, mushrooms, cabbage, carrots.. sometimes even baby corn! Another thing I love is their steamed/fried dumplings.. the dipping sauce is perfect, nice and sweet/savory! Theyre always open long hours, and make every effort to offer quick, professional service. I just moved to the area and this will be the only Chinese takeout I order from now on. Tonight I went in to pick up my large (over-stuffed box!) lo mein and my boyfriends general tsos and it was a little over $17.. I gave a young-ish girl a $20 and told her to keep the change, she was so polite about it! She gave me a stuffed bag of those sugar/dough treats for free! Some members of the family were there, and kids were playing games on phones and stuff.. they look like a great, hard-working family! So congrats to them, theyre doing a great job in my opinion and Id recommend you order from them. Great portions, polite service, and real (not overly processed) food offered. Love this place!

Best Chinese place in town and spotless, dishes are delicious and generous...the lunch menu is quite the deal. Wonton soup is among the best Ive had, wontons are huge and served just over "al dente", filling is never fatty or off flavor but could stand more garlic and onion during prep and they would be perfect. Get the large as you will be sorely disappointed for wanting more after youve finished the small. Broth is excellent with a hint of heat that comes from ginger without tasting like it. Just leaves a bit of tingle on the palate. For something with a bit more punch try their "

The food was disgusting. the shrimp with lobster sauce was too watery, there were too many peas in the sauce and the shrimp tasted old. Then there was the hot chicken it had too many onions and no chicken. When asked to replace she refused. And she throw the meal away. My partner was left with nothing. The tables were not clean and there was food on the floor. There was a live fish tank for viewing but the fish was gasping for air.. Will not eat here again. Everything was bad.

First time ordering. When we received our order there was food missing. I called the restaurant and the woman argued with me. She mistaked my order with two other peoples. I finally told her that I will never order from them again and she said ok and hung up. Why would you argue with a new customer over something so petty? Food is not that good anyways so no loss.

Order from here all the time. Im disappointed to say that after realizing part of my order was not in my bag when I got home, I called in to let them know, and the lady argued with me on the phone and pretty much called me a liar and did nothing to make it right. Sorry to say, I wont be back after the way I was talked to, even after being a loyal customer.

My wife and I have been eating at China King for years. The food is always great, hot and tasty. Withney sounds like "she" is either a competitor try to give China King a bad review or is a little kid that needs to go back to school.

Food has really fallen off, my lo mein noodles were short and watery tasting. Told them orange chicken no veggies they still got it wrong. Smfh Food is gross & they gave spring rolls instead of veggie rolls $20 thrown away!!!!!

They actually serve pork fried rice instead of that burnt brown crap other places have started serving. Very friendly people and foods good. Little to much peppers and onions and not enough meat sometimes though.
