We go here all the time. REAL maple syrup! Id go here for that alone. My grandma and my kids love the pumpkin pancakes. I personally think theyre a bit too soggy, but the kids pumpkin waffle is more crisp and works nicely. We have tried various items on the menu and have had decent to great experiences with all of them. My favorite is the chicken tenders with (crinkle cut!) fries and a side caesar salad, and the honey dijon dip. Yes, the wait can be hard, but as long as youre forewarned you can cope. Ive often left one adult of the party there and taken the kids to Value Village (making sure to return before the estimated time). [That could also have been what happened to one disgruntled reviewer - maybe the group was actually on the list first, but due to the wait went outside for a bit, so it only looked like they came in after him?] To get around the wait we go during weekdays at slightly off hours and then the kids love to sit at the counter. Ive always had good staff encounters here. Some of the better service that Ive experienced in a more casual establishment. Weve also tried the other locations and had equal success.

When we got there, we were seated after a group of 3 that arrived after us, then we had our table traded in front of us by the hosts to accommodate the group, though I dont believe they should have been seated first, or to be given our table. I wasnt happy for that, which to me is a poor way to service potential customers. I almost walked out, but wanted to give the cafe a try...so we stayed. After we were seated, the family next to us had a kid that was kicking the back of the booth seat. When my husband asked to move to another table, the waiter happily did so without questions, and continued to be friendly throughout the meal. Id say the waiter saved that experience. I ordered the corned beef hash, and my husband got the chicken fried steak. We were both satisfied with our meals. If it werent for the initial seating experience Id probably give this place 5 stars, but first impressions are usually important to me.

I will never go here again!! I have been very patient and spent thousands of dollars a year coming here because this is one of the only breakfast spots in Woodinville and my kids love the M&M pancakes. I have been hoping the service would get better, but it does not and I even order take out so I do not have to deal with the incompetent staff. Today was the last day, I give this place a single penny because the service is so bad. I think some of the staff have no common sense. Either way I will never come back here again!!

Long time, 10+ yrs, patron of Woodinville Cafe and as of late their quality and service have declined while prices have increased. It appears management is scheduling fewer servers, making the 1 or so server overworked. Their Monte Cristo, one of my favorite dishes, has become soggy not thoroughly cooked. Lastly the cook has begun yelling in order to prompt the server order is up which only serves to stress an already stressed out server due to adequate staffing. Not pleased.

Good but expensive. If you like diner food this place is pretty good. I got the Sunrise Scramble special. The eggs were perfectly cooked although the hash browns were a bit burnt and crunchy which I didnt like. The toast came with Marionberry jam that was absolutely delicious. This place isnt cheap though. I got the special and it was around $10. Everything else on the menu was $12 and up.

I love the Woodinville Cafe. Its always slammed when I go there. I get their hot turkey sandwich every time. Im totally addicted. Decor is eh, but who cares about decor when you have a hot turkey sandwhich in your belly. Service is better than average, but nothing to drool over. But that hot turkey sandwhich....mmmmm, Im drooling right now just thinking about it!

Best breakfast place around. Ronda (I think thats her name, super nice lady who rocks some killer red hair) is sooooo nice!! We get served by her almost every time and she is the best! Very attentive and genuinely kind. One of my favorite restaurants in the area (and of all time :)). Ill die if they ever take the California Scramble off the menu, so dang good!

Been coming here since it opened around 25 years ago. Good food, moderate cafe prices, generally friendly and quick service. Only problem is that it gets too busy, especially on weekends. If you dont need a table, you can belly-up to the counter and avoid the line. Railroad motif with interesting and accurate murals of early 20th C Woodinville.

This cozy, railroad-themed cafe serves some truly awesome, original breakfasts (get the pumpkin pancakes as your side dish!) and youd better get their at 7AM on weekends if you Dont want to wait. The only reason its one star down is the miserably weak coffee. Cafe DArte would pull their air pots if they knew how weak the staff were brewing it.

Plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner; all of the food Ive had there is very good (personal favorite is the berry blitz). The staff is friendly and helpful at all times. The price are slightly high then you would expect, but its well worth it. The only downside is the are SUPER busy on weekend mornings, but they do offer takeout.

I still want more. They were delicious. You dont even need syrup ! Very moist, dense but very light, soooo, sooooo good. I would drive out of my way to eat them again. Ive tried to find a recipe for them on line but dont find what I think sounds like them. Dont hesitate a moment, enjoy the great pancakes.

Simply put, the food is amazing and worth the wait! This diner has a small town feel (and size to match) with a great selection of breakfast foods. The service is a bit slow but understandably so because its a pretty packed place. Thankfully, the food more than makes up for it. Make sure to come hungry!

We love the train theme and the kids menu is very generous. 2 pancakes, bacon and an egg for under $5 which includes a drink! Of course, the wait on the weekends is very long and I dont like the policy of not seating until the party is all there so one less star for that.

The service was great coffee and water were almost always full. Fast service and very friendly! The food tasted great but everything was ice cold. If it werent for the ice cold food. Definitely 5 stars. Wait was less than 5 minutes we were initially told 10 minutes.

I have been going to this place for years and I love it! They serve breakfast all day which is wonderful. Great place to bring kids (if so order the hot chocolate for them). I definitely recommend to save room for the homemade deserts as well!

I have been here multiple times in the past 6 years and every time Ive been there, they have treated me like a member of their home and the food was great tasting. This is the place I chose to take my daughters on "Daddy-Daughter dates".

Happy that there was a diner so close by for a quick breakfast. Even though they were busy enough that there was a short wait for tables, theres also a counter that had immediate seating. I ordered the new special, which was very good.
