Youve got to try their Brazilian Mocha, its really delicious. Its like a regular mocha but they add some condensed milk to it. Ive only been there twice and I have yet to receive poor service. The place is really Brazilian, like the people who work there and the regulars there are all Brazilian and the little mini-mart is all imported stuff from Brazil. It can be a bit intimidating if youre the only "foreigner" there, but the employees seem nice. The place has a nice homey feel to it. Id definitely recommend this place: coffee is good and its fun to look at all the imported goods while you wait for your order.

Excellent Espresso! Their Brazillian Mocha and Espresso are phenomenal. The cheese bread is to die for. I havent had anything like it! The little shop has a lot of treats commonly found in a Euro market which was refreshing to see, having traveled to Europe several times. I would highly recommend this place on the espressos and the bakery alone. Ive had most of what they offer and have yet been disappointed. More people need to post when they have good experiences. This place is a good experience. Im not from the area but the people here were very courteous.

Their bowls here are the best. Their Brazilian lattés are the best. Their chicken cones, their cheese bread, their other savory pastries. Are the best. Pretty good stuff. I just got back from Hawaii where Açaí bowls were top-of-the-line, and this place has been holding me down in Washington. I even had to wait a little longer for a Bowl when the spot was pretty busy, and there was only one employee manning the register and the blender, but he graciously offered me a free Chicken cone for the wait and that made up for any upset feelings

The Kitanda has great Brazilian coffee and is a nice place to stop and get a tasty snack--whether youre Brazilian or not. Americans, be prepared for the experience to be different than your usual coffee shop. You wont get processed in under 30 seconds like other places, but youll get some good, inexpensive food thats outside your usual fare. Be prepared to make yourself friendly and you wont feel out of place.

Walked in and stood in line for about 10 minutes and the only service I received was stink-eye from the other customers. Barista was moving at snails pace and mostly just goofing with the other customers. I finally gave up and left. Other reviews indicate a "locals only" vibe... I got it in a bad way. Oh well, Im sure theres lots of Brazilians in the area to make it work.

Guaraná Antártica, Coxinha, Pão de Queijo and Brazilian Latte; you cannot go wrong with this place. Plus, the customer service is top notch. You will LOVE IT!

First time we had been here. My husband and I both worked for Starbucks. Their coffee is properly made. The brazilian latte, mocha, acai bowel, beef pocket, and ham and cheese pocket were all AMAZING!! Prices are great, less expensive than most other cafes but at a higher quality. Good price with better quality. Will be regulars now.

I went to the location at the town center just off 520 and I loved it. They do acai right. As someone that has been to Brazil, thats a big deal. They have lots of other authentic Brazilian items as well, pao de quejo, salgados, uns chocolates. Customer service could be better, other than that it had a great vibe.

The atmosphere is enjoyable. You can sit down and read or meet with some friends for coffee and relax. They offer acai bowls and smoothies which is awesome for a coffee shop. They also offer regular cafe foods like sandwiches and pretzels but with Brazilian cheese breading. The customer service is not bad either

Interesting place with a hint of Brazil all over. If you like a good coffee ☕ then youll fall in love with a great variety of options… make sure you dont miss the Brazilian Latte… those Brazilian snacks are amazing and you can find all sort of traditional Brazilian goods… visit once and youll be back soon…

Not sure what everyone else got that i didnt. Coffee was not any different than Starbucks (had a Brazilian latte), and I couldnt finish the cheese bread because it left a taste in my mouth i couldnt stomach, unfortunately. Really wanted to like this place, but wouldnt go back.

Great place to have pastries like they do in Brazil. They also sell a few Brazilian food items, which helps me feel a little more at home. They sell picanha and toscana sausage, essential to all my barbecues. I try to go to Kitanda once a month to get my Brazilian fix.

Service was not good. They were supposed to close by 2 and I got there at 1:15, they were already doing the cleaning, didnt treat me well and told me they were closing in 20 min, obviously not happy about me being there "that late". The food was not good either.

Well it had good reviews for some reason... I eat a lot of acai and hands down this was the worst acai bowl Ive ever had. I had high hope going to a Brazilian place to get acai. If youve had acai before you will be very let down.

Brazilian style coffee shop and small market. Service as well. Different and unique. Not the standard coffee shop. If you have to wait or not sure to order better ask and hopefully you will get what you want. ..

Absolutely satisfied with the breakfast, I order a Meet pocket and it was delicious, the bread was in a new level of greatness. Fresh coffee, a must if you are in the area.

Their coffee is excellent, and their açaí bowls are very refreshing, if a bit pricy for their size. Overall a solid place to stop for coffee and a bite to eat.

Amazing coffee, great fresh bakery items and interesting selection of Brazillian items. Might not look like much, but appearances in this case are deceiving!

Service is so slow. It take forever to get anything at this place. Only come back because it is the only place around here to get Brazilian food.

authentic brazillian imigrant store vibe, great bowls and sandwiches, the interior could use a few more tables and chairs and a light remodel
