Fine wine bar and retail wines … lots of choice! Great food. Go and be taken care of. Our third visit to Niche as great as ever. We asked owner-artist, Leah Jackson to prepare a non-dairy cheese plate (you know some are lactose intolerant). She totally understood and accommodated our request making an exceptional plate: two goats and a fine sheep cheese with enough fresh baguette to make it thru the cheeses. We shared a bottle of a superb Spanish Albariño from the wine list. (5 stars here too) We went early, at about 5PM, just prior to a film festival up at WSU. Its quiet this early and makes a great place for after work conversation.

Service catered to customers who seemed to be friends with the manager. She talked with table next to us for about 10 minutes, then moved to check on and, chat at other tables before coming to ours. Then the manager/server acted disinterested in our menu question. When she put the bill down without asking if we wanted anything else, we reflected on what we could have done to be treated so rudely. We could only think that we didnt know wine well or werent dressed fancy enough or werent friends with this lady.

It has a moody feel and you can have tarts (like mini pizzas) that have speck and fine cheeses it comes in a vegetarian option also. There is also a seasonal salad. If you go you have to order the bread and truffle butter or fine cheese. On last Saturdays there is poetry in different languages. Sometimes there is live music by Cronin Tierney, Eric Sutten and others.

Delicious, romantic, refreshing and lovely. The food was great, the wine list was well-rounded, the couch is comfy and they were playing Rubella Graves when we walked in the door. Could this be our Cheers? Youll be hard pressed to find a better place to take your date or unwind after a long day in Clark County. Go check it out.

Its a cute and fun place to get together with some friends and drink some good wine or bubbly-which I love. Not too stuffy and has a pretty big selection of wines and a smaller food menu. Highly recommend!

Now even better - with live music on Saturdays. And possibly music added on Wednesdays in the summer. Best call ahead to see which rotating performer is playing: 50s jazz, Irish piano pub, opera tunes, etc.
