With some of the other poor reviews, I was scared after agreeing to meet some folks here. We are McMs fans, but sometimes the service can be a bit iffy. This was our first visit to this location. The service was actually very good - friendly, fast, they followed up, offered more drinks, brought more water, etc. We were served well by 3 people, so it wasnt like we just got lucky with one person. Food and beverages were standard quality for McMs... which we like. Also, its not totally a "strip mall McMenamins". There are some of those. This is in a separate building, its well decorated. No, its not Edgefield or Kennedy School, but its not awful either.

I went to this location recently and let me warn you, STAY AWAY! Unless you would like to watch the staff socializing while you wait for your drinks, you should stay away! Mark, The gentleman who spoke with us about our issues claimed to be the manager. He was not only rude and unhelpful but stunk of booze to a high degree! Sad when you can smell a boozer even within a bar! McMenamins, get your act together! If you want to visit a McMenamins, go to one of the headline locations such as Crystal Ballroom, Edgefield, or Kennedy School.

Folks McM is what it is. Service has always been very iffy but thats one of the draws of McM. If you dont like that dont go. The food varies from spot to spot. What might be a great menu at one restaurant (North Bank, Eugene) is nowhere to be found in another (High Street Brewey also in Eugene). Anyone can get some can of tummy upset in any restaurant. I have neve been sickened at any McM so dont be afraid. Its a pub, a place to meet with other beer-minded friends and have fun. If you find it bland, look in a mirror.

We have been coming for at least 10 years, but today was not their best day. We ordered fish & chips as usual, but we were disappointed. We used to get twice as much for the same price, and todays fish was overcooked and small. This dinner was edible, just didnt have a lot of flavor for the price. The beer is always great here, and the service was very nice. We will come back, but may not order fish next time...

This is my first online review ever, but I felt something had to be said about the positive experience my family and I had at McMenamins West Linn. After reading the below reviews before trying this restaurant, we were expecting poor service, etc. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was great and timely. Our servers name was Tanya, and she was excellent. The food was great. We will definitely be back.

Worst customer service ever! It was like we were completely invisible. Others sat at tables next to us and were acknowledged and served while we sat trying to get the servers attention for over 20 minutes. No hello, no menu, no drinks. Even people at the other tables were wondering what was up. We ended up walking out without speaking to a single staff member. Terrible terrible experience.

West Linn McMenamins has turned around in the last year and a half. I have been coming here for the last 10 years and I will admit that the last 5 years in total has been bleak. But the last 5 times I have gone it has been enjoyable. Service is better, food has gotten better and is more consistent. Outdoor patio is a very nice place to hang out on a sunny day.

Not the best McMenamins that I have been too. Its great because, well, its Mcmenamins, but it doesnt have that wow factor like most of the other venues. If you do go here though, get their Cajun Tots and Ruby Ale, they are to die for! Also, if you do go try going during Happy Hour as they have great deals!!

Took 25 minutes to get all of our drinks. In a place that built their reputation around beer you would thing getting a beer would be faster. 4 drinks took 3 separate trips over that time frame and the place was half empty on a friday. Food was good waiter was nice but would be better off being a librarian.

It took over 30 minutes just to get our dinner salads. The server said "the kitchen is backed up"? For salad? There were 6 empty tables around us. We stopped because traffic was backed up on 205, and I can honestly say I would rather be in traffic. My advice, STAY AWAY.

Classic McMenamins.Two tables out front are dog friendly. Our dogs ordered the grilled chicken breast.Citrus wheat is refreshing and the El Diablo sandwich is excellent. If you like McMenamins, youll love it here. Staff was friendly. Definitely coming again.

My husband and I have been to several McMenamins locations, and we have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and service! The food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are delicious, and we always look forward to coming back. :)

I dined here about a year ago, which will be the last. I was seated right away but waited 10 min for a menu. Dinner arrived 30 min later but no bill after. No waiter asking how the meal was. Eventually I calculated the tab and left that + $0.10

Despite other peoples reviews, I have been coming here for well over 11 years and I love this restaurant and the business overall. I love the food and the fact that it has its own brewery. Definitely worth coming here and eating.

Our Soroptimist International club holds a social here the first Wednesday of each month during happy hour. The staff accomodates between 8 - 16 people without a hitch. They change up the menus throughout the year. Good times!

The food was ok and staff was really friendly, but they allow smoking in the outdoor seating which kind of ruined our meal smelling cigarette smoke the entire time. Its a small enclosed area so the smoke really travels.

I got FOOD POISONING from there. If you want a good McMenamins restaraunt, pack your bags and drive down to Eugene, OR. There, its the BEST. But not in West Linn. :(

Definitely not the best McMenamins Ive ever been to, it didnt have that charm others have, but the tater tots are still superb, and the food is better than average.
