I finally tried this place because of the good reviews. First, let me address two things that I think contribute to the high ratings: 1) blatant bribery via free menu items and $ off for social media posts (see photo) and, 2) the average culinary taste of the typical customer that frequents this place and Vancouver restaurants in general. -In short, the stunning reviews seem inaccurately optimistic. For an average American chain restaurant, the food is ok, the portions are large, and the prices are reasonable. Id say taste and quality are near the black bear diner category, and somewhere a bit higher than IHOP. If youre looking for pine state biscuits or screen door-esque quality and taste, this is not your place. Service is fast and friendly, and the menu selection is pretty large. The regular coffee was decent, but I found the huge bowl of flavored creamer packets on the table to be a portent of things to come. I had the country-fried steak, which turned out to be the typical frozen-type you hope isnt arriving on your plate (if youve EVER had made-to-order). The hash browns were average, but the server graciously had the cook put extra gravy over them simply because I mentioned gravy complements my browns. The country-style sausage gravy? -hmmm ...Usually, gravy is either average, uniquely-seasoned, bad, decent, salty, etc., but this gravy was just "there" -Not terrible or bad, it just doesnt leave any impression. The over-medium eggs were as expected. My side of two pancakes was pretty good. Atmosphere was decent for this type of establishment. Sanitation/cleanliness seemed high. Id recommend only if your taste has lead you to believe places like sharis and elmers actually serve good breakfast.

So far the service is slow and tired. Yes the restaurant is full but not full enough to wait 10 min to place our order. When it already took 10 min to have our drink order for water taken. Our waitress has the fake smile but looks as if she hates her job. Not the best way to start the morning! Hoping the food is different from other locations and is more than mediocre. Well the food came out and it is as sad as the staff. The highlighted raspberry freezer jam on the menu and said ask your waitress. 3 if us asked for the raspberry freezer jam and one was correct the others were an overly sweet strawberry freezer jam. The amount they gave enough for one slice of toast. The only positive was their homemade salsa which was able to mask the flavor of the meal to make it edible.

This place seemed promising, but the incompetency of the staff was staggering. There was no order or structure while we waited to be sat, and we were not even greeted for the first 5 minute we were there. We were quoted a 5 min wait which easily turned into 20 minutes with no end in sight, and no one was courteous enough to tell us what the problem was. Having worked at a restaraunt I understand having issues and longer waits, but the lack of communication here was attrocious. Another patron then informed us that this place is always like this, and many customers left unhappy. After 40min with no communication we left.

This place is so nice. Homey but open feeling. But the food. Oh my the food... Boyfriend ordered the cali chicken omelette and I the chicken bacon ceasar wrap. His omelette was huge (4 eggs!) And overstuffed with goodness. They also had fresh biscuits that came with their strawberry perserve which is really tasty! The wrap is honestly one of the best Ive had; full of fresh lettuce, real parmesean, and hot grilled chicken. You can tell this place serves only freshly made food, not anything really prepped in advance. Servers were all super friendly and seated us immediately. Will definitely come back, and with company!

This place serves a shockingly good breakfast. Its definitely suburban, witnessed by its lack of ambiance and the never ending stream of soccer moms and trump supporters fresh out of sky daddy lessons. But damn... the food is exceptional. If Portlands long annoying lines for breakfast are wearing on your nerves, hop in the car and head deep into the Couv, dont look anybody directly in the eye and enjoy a fine breakfast. Then maybe head a little further up north to the Lewis river. Oh... they also have gluten free pancakes, English muffins, and toast!.

Got a BLT. It was made from the finest pork in all of the western seaboard. As I ate it, I felt the power of 1000 Norse gods rush through my veins and instantly proceeded to climb to the summit of Mt St Helens without a permit. The park rangers urged me to stop but they were no match for the power instilled in me provided via the Kitchen Table. They (by proximity alone) felt a rush of energy not felt since the big bang and proceeded to stop forest fires with only the power of their lungs and a stern look, as if to say "No fire shall pass".

This place is the BEST!! Not only do they have the best, high quality, real homemade food but they offer a GLUTEN FREE menu. It tastes great too. They even have real corn syrup free ketchup which is wonderful too because some people like myself are very sensitive to corn syrup. They also have wonderful service and clean environment. Were never going to IHOP again. I wanted to leave a thank you to the manager but they dont have comment cards so I had to leave a review instead. This is definitely our new favorite place.

The KTC is one of nicest cleanest,,, (they clean everything everyday) I know, I go In there a lot, they close @ 2:30pm their food is simple and good made with a lot of their own preserves and even their own line of coffees and teas. I highly recommend that anyone go their. You will not be disappointed. If you post something about them,,, while youre dining they will give you a discount or something off the menu. No this place is not closed and I hope that it will stay open for as long as they want it to.. Enjoy

This place is awesome! The food is great and portions are huge! I just had the best french toast I have ever had! It had bananas and banana cream on top of it! Holy wow that was good! The bacon is fantastic! You have to try it! The biscuits are good as well! They have this crazy freezer jelly that comes with them! Better than anything I have had. There was a little bit of a wait but its well worth it. When you have a line out the door, thats a good thing, right? Anyway, I recommend.
