My FAVORITE restaurant. I stop here every time Im in town. My daughter does the same thing. Im never sure when I order from other Thai places if Im going to like it. Now that Ive eaten here, ALL other Thai places disappointment me. I wont even order Pad Thai anywhere else anymore. The Pad Thai dish is so plentiful that my daughter and I can split an order and both have generous portions. I usually order Tofu as my meat choice, which is $9.95. I cant make dinner for 2 people, especially not Pad Thai. AND I could never make it taste like this. The prices are mostly $9.95 unless your meat choice is shimp. Prawns add $2 to any dish. The most expensive item on the menu is $12.95 Right now, and for the past few months, its hard to find, you havent been here before. There is a messy 24/7 road construction project in front of it. The driveway entrance is hard to see and sometimes hard to navigate, so drive slow. SOOOO worth it though.

Oh so yummy! Everything was just wonderful! You should order a couple of orders of rice or noodles to add to things cuz there is lots of sauce! & if you order hot! You will need it! lol The hottest dishes were like kissing a wrought iron skillet but so good you cannot stop! ;) I am very happy I ordered from here for my sons Birthday dinner through Uber eats! It was worth every dime! I find it interesting that people say this has been their favorite place for six year but one time bad service & they decide now is the time to rate the place & only give one star after six years & another one say "BEST PLACE EVER!" but only give one star!? Very good fresh food! My whole family is happy! & portions so large we have leftovers & we are big eaters! Once again! Love this place!

We were very pleased with our experience at Chili Thai on 27th in University Place. The service was excellent, our water was filled up four times during our meal, the food was very reasonably priced and we received our meals within 10 minutes of ordering. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. I usually do not order dessert, but I tried the coconut ice cream for the first time and will probably order it each time we go back. IT WAS SO GOOD! It was also served with a fresh orchid flower as decoration. The place had a very clean, well lit and classy feel without being over the top. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant and my boyfriend and I look forward to eating here again! :)

I was relieved to find an Asian style restaurant within walking distance from my work. Ive gone here twice, first time I had the Hot Basil Beef which I would give 2.5 stars. A bit lacking in flavor, rice was dry and getting hard, could have used a bit more meat. On my second visit I ordered the House Spicy Noodles with Beef. It had reasonably good flavor but there were way too many noodles for my liking and not enough beef. Also, noodles were a bit soggy. I think the vegetables were the best part of both meals, they are fresh, tasty, and plentiful, which I like. I will be coming back to try more options, all in all not a bad experience. I would say pros outweigh the cons.

Horrible experience. First off, the place was dead. My wife and I probably shouldve taken that as our cue and left, but sadly we didnt. We ordered our food and then our waitress brought out the obligatory "complimentary soup." Upon inspection, her soup had a GIANT piece of what looked like dryer lint, just chilling in the middle of her bowl. We immediately flagged the waitress and showed her it, and then told her that we were not eating the soup. All she did was take our bowls from us... That was frustrating. How that got past the kitchen is beyond me, plus, she didnt even apologize or offer us anything... Great customer service (NOT). Will not be going back.

I wanted to like it. Nice people, smells great, caring service, and Ive even eaten here before, but Dang! The Papaya salad was so spicy at 3 of 5 stars that I could not eat it. I was miserable with burn for a half an hour and Im no spice whimp. Thai Barbeque Chicken, a first try at this location, was flavorful if you could chew it. So dry the skin was stuck hard to the flesh and biting or cutting the food through the desicated skin and flesh, pretty much ruined it for me. Ive enjoyed this location before....are there changes afoot besides my being out $18+generous tip for food that will be tossed. Ill try again, but now I have no expectations. :/

Love this place! I have been a very long-time Chili Thai customer. The food is always great, fast, and fresh. The service is stellar. For me, one mark of a great place is how they deal with the inevitable mistake. EEK! Today, for the first time ever, there was a slight mix-up in an order placed online for take-out. They not only fixed it, but also gave us extra because they truly felt bad. With true customer service seemingly a thing of the past, these people when above and beyond to make a minor error right with us, and I am very impressed! The people, the food, its awesome. Great place to eat, get take-out, and bring the family!

Good food. We tried the sampler, fresh rolls, tofu garlic, larb, and chicken with peanut sauce. The food was very good. The wait time for the food was not long. They provided very friendly and good service, although they seemed slightly under staffed because we had a long wait to place our order food, although we were seated right away. I will definitely return because its a really good value and good Thai food.

Our church office is right around the corner, so very convienient for us. The food is always excellent, large quantities, and great service! Try the Myong Kum appetizer - a really authentic thai treat where you wrap your own spinach leaves around chopped peanuts, toasted coconut, onions, ginger, dried shrimp, and then lace it with sweet chili sauce.

If people think this what thai food should taste like I feel sorry for you. I cant tell the difference between 5 star spice and 1 and I ordered both. They completely forgot the peanut sauce oh and their wasnt even chili in it anywhere. Oh yah and I had more bean sprouts than noodles like what? Not how Thai food taste or even look not even close.

Their pad Thai tastes more like chow mein than it does pad Thai. Still edible but doesnt taste like what most expect for pad Thai. Also if you actually enjoy spicy add 2 stars on the spice. Got a level 3 cant taste any chili.

The appetizers were the best thing I ate here. Dry chicken, too sweet peanut sauce, strangely seasoned fried rice. Would recommend to anyone that wants to try Thai food but is accustomed to eating mostly hamburger and pizza

The food was pretty basic Thai-style. Unfortunately, there was a lack of spice on my 2-star order and overall it was a bit bland. Also, the Thai iced tea was super sweet compared to ones Ive had at other Thai restaurants.
