I have been a longtime Half Pint customer until one of the worst customer experiences I ever had was with them. Last week me and my partner visited with several friends and family for food and drinks. It was OK but my partner forgot her ID in the booth, and my brother, who was sitting on other side of booth, had his cannabis-pipe unknowingly fall out of his pocket. One of their staff found my partner on Facebook and asked her to come get her ID. When she arrived to get her ID they told her "We also have your pipe. A child found it, and innocent little kid. Shame on you." And they went on for quite awhile publicly shaming her before giving her her ID and telling us to "take a break from here for a while." It turns out there was no child! The woman who text my partner who found the ID confirmed there were no children present. They just added that fabricate detail to add to the affect. Neither me nor my girlfriend smoke cannabis, but we got banned and publicly shamed because one person in our large party lost a pipe. They wont admit they were wrong and have not explained the huge lie about the non-existent child. Also, the atmosphere here on weekend nights has gotten very dark and bad and several fights and near-fights have erupted recently. Will. Not. Return. Ever.

I have been going to this place forever, however I just had a horrible experience after leaving my passport. Apparently a family dining at the establishment the next day found my passport, and also incidentally found a weed pipe. I personally do not smoke, however it is possible that someone in my group of 6 people did leave a pipe. I apologized and explained that it may have been someone elses, but that I wasnt sure. His response was to ask me repeatedly to "take a break" from coming back, and to explain how messed up it was that a kid found the pipe. He also maintained that I should have somehow known that someone in the group had a pipe and left the pipe. I completely agree that it is messed up a kid found a pipe, however I strongly recommend that they clean their booths at night before having kids come into the bar. I was humiliated and shamed over something I had nothing to do with and had no control over. I will be taking more than a break from this establishment. *update. The woman who actually found the passport contacted me, and there were no kids in the bar at the time the passport and pipe were found. So not only did they shame me over something I had nothing to do with, they lied during the process.

I will never return to this horrible place! The bartender treated me horribly! He was mean to me right from the moment I walked in there, acting like he didnt really like his job or was having a bad day. Who knows, but no excuse to how he treated me! I ordered a calzone and they gave me a pizza instead. I tried to be polite about it and then the bartender kept insisting I ordered the pizza, when I knew 100% for a fact I ordered the calzone! After I told him I would keep it, but just requested I get charged for the calzone, since it was their mistake, he gives me angry look, saying ok, but then blurts out again to me " I know you ordered the pizza." I then proceeded to tell him I dont like being called a liar and then he flips out on me and cusses me out. Ive never been treated so horrible anywhere in my life! This guy seriously needs to be fired, as people who are paying customers dont deserve to be verbally abused. I ended up paying for my drink and went across to the street to the Crown Bar where the staff was respectful and actually treats their customers kindly.

The sorriest excuse for a margarita pizza I have ever seen. It was dry and burnt. Went I complained the manager was a total d*ck about it. He said the ingredients are clearly listed and I ordered it so I have to pay for it. Hes in the back eating it. Says it tastes fine. He makes it everyday and no one ever complaint except for me apparently. Glad I could pay for your dinner d*ckhead. Glad I could pay for your dinner. Do a google image search for a margarita pizza. It looks nothing like it. Tasted like burnt toast. First and last time I will ever come here.

The service was slow initially because the place was slammed with just one service person. But once we got our drinks and then our food the experience was quite ok. The cheese steak sandwich was surprisingly good, as was the meatball sub, though both could have had a bit more meat. The tortilla chips served with them were a little stale. They had a few classic video games like pacman and tekken3, and a generous claw machine with candy prizes. We wanted something laid back and basic and we got what we wanted here.

My favorite pizza place in Tacoma! Medis has delicious food at a reasonable price. They also have several wonderful beers that exist on a rotating tap, giving the customer an opportunity to taste many wonderful brews. I almost always grab the three dollar beer on tap because it is rarely a let down. The staff is normally very friendly, but occasionally the place is understaffed, and the pizza is just to die for.

I like to think of this place as a NW pizza parlor. Theres usually a mix of hipsters and families when I go, so be aware that there often are kids here, but its a pizza parlor, so that shouldnt be a surprise. They have a good beer selection, and have a rotating $3-a-pint tap, which is awesome. I would say this is the best pizza Ive had in Tacoma, I especially recommend the Talking Mushroom.

I wish I could give them 10 stars! I can not gush about this place enough! The service is awesome, the food is made from scratch (it takes smudge longer to make), they have a great beer selection and they cater to your needs! You cant beat their happy hour! I had my husbands birthday party there and they really went above and beyond to meet the needs of the party and it was a great price!

Very good pizza and pretty decent service. Great beer on tap. The server/bartender was jolly with a smile on his face, he made a point to know my name and made it clear that I could get as annoying with the special pizza requests as I wanted to. Good stuff. Ive also seen quite a few great local reggae bands perform here. Check it out. Ill be back.

watch out when paying by debit or credit and leaving a tip, they will pad it. I bought one drink for the total of 6.57, left 7.25 for a small tip because I had to walk to the bar both times for a drink. They charged me 8.32, now I know this isnt a bunch of money but really a pet peave of mine when people count on you not balancing your checkbook.

Being from NY this is the closest thing you will get to NY style pizza in the south sound. Both their pizza and calzone is delicious and they have a great beer selection as well. The service has been great in the last few months coming here. The few bad complaints I read must be the type of people nobody could please.
